I buy quite a few DVDs and know that a few others do as well. There's been plenty of threads talking about favorite DVDs or lits of DVDs, but nothing to update those threads. Whenever you buy a new disk (or video works, too) let us know about it and if you've viewed it yet. If you have give us a little report. Remember, this isn't for the ones you already have, just the most recent movie purchases that you've gotten. I'll go first. I bought these two today: I've been waiting for months to get my hands on this one. Man, it is simply awesome. I'm watching the extras disc now. Jam packed with interviews and a couple documentaries. A must have for all film fans, HST fans, or narcotics fans. Haven't seen it yet, but with William H. Macy, Isaiah Washington, Sam Rockwell, George Cloony, and Steven Soderbergh involved in it, it can't be all that bad.
Recently... Most recent purchase... Had been waiting a while to get this, mainly because I kept forgetting to pick it up. Great movie.
like afl, I just got Fear and Loathing, it is an outstanding DVD. highly recommended! also... which i haven't had the time to check out yet and... which is awesome. i love this movie.
my some strange reason, my mother in law just gave me my big fat greek wedding for my b-day. i didn't even like the movie, so i don't know if she was trying to be funny or what.
I'm picking this one up later today. The first and second seasons of Family Guy are being released here in Canada on the 18th of April. I can't wait for that one. Anybody know when the third season of The Simpsons will be out?
Looking at my own two most recent purchases leads me to the question...Why is everything packaged as a "special edition" or "collector's edition" these days? There are no other editions of these movies. I hate when people try to sell you something that doesn't exist.
Paul McCartney DVD "Back in the U.S." concert tour. Excellent. Check it out. He does a lot of Beatles tunes.
Well, for my birthday I received the following: Paths of Glory Manhattan Annie Hall Gladiator A Bridge Too Far
