Does anyone know what Fox Sports World will show during the off season?
I noticed on soccertv.com that the Charity Shield is already being touted out at $20 for the PPV!

Before you hit reply and yell it is the community shield, I am aware of this but am just stubborn and want to call it the traditional name!
I still say linesman!!! I don't agree with all this newfangled americanized stuff

FSW will show a number of repeat matches from England and Spain. Last summer they showed at least two matches a week but only showed Arsenal once against Newcastle(with DB10 classic goal). I will say that they are heavily supporting the MLS and A-league so there is a chance that these repeats will not be shown.

Also, the cricket and rugby coverage was double as there is no more international football to be played.

There was also a lot of coverage of Irish Football and Hurling last summer. Usually one or two nights a week, around midnight CST.

FOX Sports World will be showing the ChampionsWorld Series, featuring such teams as Juventus, AC Milan, Celtic, Club America, Barcelona (scheduled, but if they have to go Intertoto...) and of course a team from England.

If you can't go in person, I suggest you watch on the telly as this should be some fun stuff.

For the fan of sports other than soccer, they will also have the Teva Mountain Games (sort of an X-games for Kayakers, Mountain Bikers, Climbers, etc.) in early June.

That I am working PR on these two events is merely a coincidence and in know way effects my unbiased opinion about what will be the two greatest TV sports spectacles this summer. Absolutely must see TV.

They have prepackaged Aussie Rules and Gaelic games shows that they broadcast. I wish that they would vary their programming a little bit. I mean, I want the soccer to be the main thing. But I'd also like to see some more emphasis on the other games as well. The FSW Report will have MLS, the Gold Cup, and Confederations Cup to keep it busy during the summer months. But I wish they would stop repeating highlights later in the show and do some more in-depth coverage of what's going on in Aussie Rules, hurling, rugby league, and even sumo (among other things). I even wish they would do more in-depth feature stuff on MLS and the A-League. Anyway, that's my opinion.

Well, you didn't steer me wrong on that World Cup thing you worked last summer....
