What's the connection? Who starred on all four films? Is it a producer or film studio?

The common link between The Mummy, LotR, and Son-In-Law is Encino Man. Meaning, Brendan Fraser (The Mummy), Sean Astin (LotR), and Pauly Shore (do I really need to say?) were all in Encino Man.
