What do the Krafts owe me for being a fan ?

Nothing. I don't owe them anything either.

But if they want me to continue giving them money, they'll do things I like and stop doing things I don't like. This is the basis of the capitalist system.

If the soccer's good (and sometimes it's not), that's a great start. But if the environment bugs me, that's a detriment and I might stop buying tickets. If enough people do that, everybody loses.

We could do this negotation without any communication, where I just keep my mouth shut and stop showing up -- but it's equally reasonable to speak up about things that bother me given the possibility that they're changeable. Then we both win.

It seems to offend your sense of something that the team is winning more than they used to and people are still unhappy with aspects of using the product. I don't know why, but being condescending and patronizing about it seems equally childish.

Less waiting in line for a game where the stadium is less than 20% full.

More promotion, so that we don't feel as if we are the only ones who care about the team.

Other than that, put a winner on the field and keep the bathrooms clean.

 

Here is what they literally owe me:

1. Access to stadium to watch soccer match with Revolution and opponent. Might be some other teams playing in some cases. Eg, USA v Jamaica.

Here is what I expect and will be unhappy if they cannot do:

1. Put together a decent team that is successful and tries hard when it isn't doing too well. Increase the quality of that team over time if possible.

2. Give me a clean, safe, comfortable place to watch this team.

3. Serve food that is not terrible and not overpriced. (Some leeway here...)

4. Provide reasonable parking access for not too much money.

5. Reasonable access into and out of the stadium

6. Enough amenities in the stadium. Eg, bathrooms, concession stands, cupholders , etc.

Here are some things that would be nice, but I cannot really expect them:

1. Winning team that wins the championship every year.

2. Great food at low prices.

3. Free parking.

4. Massive frothing crowds that make lots of noise and add to the atmosphere, but yet add no delay to my exit/entrance to the stadium.

5. Removing ads from the inside of the stadium.

6. Perfect weather

7. No sun in my eyes

Brazile said it best, neither of us owes the other anything, but if they want me and people like me to keep giving them money, they will at least try and make us happy. This is what would be a start for me:

To allow me to buy tickets at the window for my own season tickets when they announce that playoff tickets are "now on sale," rather than to have to make four phone calls to buy them.

They owe me consistent rules of game day operations. Every single game for the last 2 months, I have had the same conversaiotn with the same idiot regarding parking. He keeps waving cars to the back, I prefer to park in the MR area. I do not to be hassled every time. I can excuse 1 or 2 times, but how many times do I have to have the same argument?

They owe me enough staff to make the logistics bearable. I missed the first 15 minutes of the game because there were literally hundreds of people in line at the will-call window, with four (count 'em, 4) people working the whole line.

Of course, had I been able to buy my own tickets in person at the previous game like I wanted to, I woudn't have had to worry about that. Not to mention many of the others who were also in line.

Is that too much to ask?

I really do not think he owes me very much- other than providing a decent product, in an environment that I want to come to, for a price I am willing to pay with respectful treatment and service while I am there. These are the same basic requirements for any restaurant, store or entertainment venue- I choose to frequent.
When it stops being enjoyable to go- I'll stop.

We had this in the old stadium, but alas we do not in the new. As our seats were in the front row at mid-field of section 120. They were great- no one standing, walking, whatever in front of us. This year- we are in row 1 of section 110- we have the visiting team bench, the scorers table, television crews, EMT's, photographers and all the sideline "support" people as well as all the "special guests" that are constanatly walking around in front of us.

what the krafts should do....

i know an owner of a certain team orders his players to call every single season ticket holder to express their gratitude for their support. if the revs do this and if i were a rev season-ticket holder, it would be cool to get a call from TnT or any rev for that matter.

No. Would people wait in lines like that for a concert, or any other form of entertainment, and then sit quietly and accept it? No. All people are asking for is decent treatment and organization.

 

What they owe me specifically as a Season Ticket Holder is the right to turn in any unused tickets from my Season Ticket Booklet OR Playoff Strip for credit to my account for next year,like some of the other MLS teams in the league do.

(specifically, you can use them in that same season for reg mls matches [non-dbl header, int'l matches, and po's])

rolling unused tix over to next season is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? also, they already do roll over any p.o. tix you pre-purchase to your account next year....but, why in god's name would you let kraft first savings & loan hold onto to your $ for you?
