I am so so excited! I haven't been to an MLS game in over two years! I just moved to the area I posted a few months back about how I was expecting to come out to Monterey and now I am here! Any tips??

I am definitely going on Saturday... where do I meet all you cool people (that's if you guys do some sort of pre-game thing?) Let me know!! Thank you, so much for all of your help!! Go Quakes!!

    Amanda :)

I don't know how "cool" we are but the Club Quake tailgate is held in the east parking lot right to the left of the gate. Look for our banner and stop by and say hello. We get there a couple hours ahead of time.Stop by and introduce yourself:D

Yeah I'm excited for this game on Saturday too. It'll be my first for the 2003 season. I haven't gone since September 2002. Should be a great game! I plan to leave a few hours early so maybe I can stop by and say hello :)

    soccer in the monterey area

Hey so whats up with soccer in this area are there any co-ed leagues because I really want to play, but I have a kind of huge time constraint, he is my husband, my mother, my father, my brother my sister, my kid, my best friend... he is UNCLE SAM. So if anyone can hook me up with the 411 on whats up in this area. Please let me know.

    One Love,

    Amanda :)

Find a fan of the opposing team, head-butt them, take their scarf, douse it on gasoline, and light it on fire. If it's a Galaxy fan, douse them and light them on fire too.

Amanda! I was worried you got deployed or something.

Just get your butt in gear and show up wearing blue to the Club Quake tailgate between 4 - 5 in the grass parking lot, to the left of the admission gates. (I believe, someone correct me, that it's the East lot. And if you show up before 5:30, there's little traffic to speak of.) Look for the Club Quake banner and a bunch of 'cool' people wearing Quakes jerseys.

Last time Troy Dayak joined us. The food is always good. Sometimes Beerking brings a keg. There's never a shortage of drink. Nice folks.

Talk to everyone there, because you won't have a voice left afterwards.
    :D
