    Land of the Free
    Club:
    Arsenal FC
GK: Hart, carson...im struggling to find good english keepers, perhaps robinson could go as 3rd choice, idk...

CB- dawson, smalling, phil jones, gary cahill, steven taylor, kyle bartley
FB- glen johnson, gibbs, micah richards

CM- michael davies, michael johnson, cattermole, rodwell, gosling, wilshere, delph, lansbury, cleverly, milner, lennon, huddlestone, adam johnson, ashley young, downing

CF- rooney, james vaughn, andy carroll, welbeck, theo walcott, defoe, bent, carlton cole, agbonlahor

Im sure more player's will come onto the scene, but the 2012 euros' are just around the corner, and we more or less HAVE to start developing that team NOW. If we think we can go to poland/ukraine with the same core of terry/lamps/gerrard/james/heskey England have lost it. in 2 years most of those players will be either finished or in serious decline, there is no point considering them 1st choice, if they are still around and perhaps a dire need, ok, consider them, but as far as im concerned, there cycle is OVER.

I just hope the FA realize this, and do what is NECESSARY.

Mark Davies is injury prone but talented. Can't really rely on him at this point.
Michael Johnson has had a nightmare. Talented but might never be the player he could have been now. Same with Vaughan battered with injuries and will probably end up in the Championship now.

Taylor and Richards haven't done anything in ages. Don't think we can rely on them but I wouldn't rule out anyone.

Gosling and Delph both have had long term injuries too. Hopefully they get back but you can't rely on them at this point.

Best keepers are Hart and Foster. Forster is probably the best at U21 level but he's only played at League 1 level so hard to say much about him yet.

We lack right backs. Best potentially is probably Kyle Walker but will he get games at Spurs? Probably not.
Kyle Naughton had a disaster of a season but still has talent and Nathaniel Clyne is probably the next best potential option.
Miles off senior level but all the other options above them bar Glen Johnson are not good enough.

So you can't really drop loads of people because you don't know who is going to be playing from most of those players you have listed or how they will do in the top flight consistently.

Whenever someone mentions Cattermole and England together I get a shiver down my back. He has enough difficulty with yellow cards in England, never mind with continental referees.

Why wouldn't you include Terry, Ferdinand, and maybe Gerrard? No, these players should not be the core of the team anymore, but they can still be very useful. Also Shelvey looks very good. Please, no Downing.

I would like to see this for England's next friendly match. Start bringing in the new with some of the old. Also hoping M Johnson can rebound from injury to take up the holding role a la Xavi. Or maybe putting Micah richards in as a stopper and going 4-5-1.
