With the WC almost here and all, I'm quite interested to hear about what team you guys think'll do the best and why..

I think the U.S. will do best out of concacaf teams.. they looked pretty good, except for the germany game. I think mexico will go to the 2nd round but not any further.

Costa Rica wont get past the 1st round imo, and neither will T&T.

    What do you think?

Mexico, they have the perfect group to shine, I see them reaching quarter-finals.

is a 50-50 chance if the US passes their group they will defenetly be respected as for mexico not really unless they beat a team like ivory coast or holland in the round of 16

Call me crazy but yes. I honestly think one of those two will have a dissapointing cup. It always happens with the group of death

94-Italy - third place in group - does; however, rebound to make the final - but under new rules they would have been eliminated
98-Spainand Bulgaria - Spain does not qualify for knockout rounds (they are underacheivers). Bulgaria fourth place at WC 94
02-Argentina and Nigeria - many thought Argentina would win. I even know someone who said that Argentina could send two teams and they would have met in the final. And Nigeria was pure class also.

I just think for some reason one of these teams is doomed.

Mexico will have the best cup solely based on what group they play in, the US may not qualify out of group, but Mexico WILL. Also I honestly believe that Costa Rica will progress, I am not sold on Poland. They were best second, but what team in their group aside from England is great? Austria, Northern Ireland (yes I know they beat England, but that means nothing to me), Wales, or Azerbaijan?

    here is what I think:

T&T need more than a miracle
MEXICO do not underestimate Iran and Angola and play their game against Portugal and they should be alright.
USA they rely in an upset to pass the group stage either against Italy or Zchek RP.
CR honestly I think they have a better chance than USA to go through, not because they're better but because the group they are in.

Based on the groups, it has got to be Mexico.

Ahh.. couldn't find anything else to point out so i could loose even more "credibility"

LMAO. and the ranks, yeah im informed of them. i doubt anyone could agree with any ranks that hold more than 100 teams in any sport.. so obviously there's gonna be disagreement. so whats the biggest thing you disagree within the ranks? tell me?..

    back to topic
I think that the Mexico will perform the best, mainly because of their group. Unless the US pulls a fast one and actually do good in Europe, i don't see them making it to 2nd round
