Hey sounds like fun, although despite being at college I believe I would be considered too immature by the teacher a couple days in and be kicked out : : btw I love the word arse and have incorporated it along with wanker into my vocabulary after reading a lot of British publications to the consternation of my friends and family

Would I be alone if I were to say this is the post of the (academic ) year on this forum? And on the seventh week of term, he said 'rep shall be spread!'
I checked. They lead in faculty members with research support. (Second graph.) http://www.artsci.wustl.edu/~anthro/research/ratings.html For me, poisonally, speaking as an anthropologist and former academic advisor, I think anthro courses are generally really good for teaching students some of the fundamental skills of scholarship (critical analysis and writing). Hooray for anthro. Grad school is more along the lines of "you got to love it," of course.
Sounds like my freshman, sophmore, and junior years. Though must admit the crest was sophmore year. I'm taking some good classes right now, but here's what i got for my final semester of undergrad. + Advanced Reporting (4 the writer in me) + Public Relations (4 the working writer in me) + Science requirement (4 the graduation) + Workings of the European Union (4 the statesman in me) + CPR class (4 the graduation) + History of Jazz (been meaning to take this one for a long time) yeah that's my life in 6 classes.
Isn't that data over 10 years old. And doesn't it only talk about research support, not the quality of the department?
Correct in both cases. I wasn't claiming to support or refute anything. I just posted all I found on the subject, although I should say I didn't look very hard.
Wasn't accusing you; just making sure I was reading what I thought I was reading. This reminds me of the Cooley law school rankings, which are really amusing (and completely out of touch with reality).
