Came across this doozy, check it out... You can use this bit of trivia to amaze your friends at your next party.

So who is it? Terry Mulholland, Pitcher, Dodgers (for now).

Let's look the whereabouts throughout his career... He started off with the Giants in '86, stuck around there for two seasons, then signed with the Phillies for 1989. He then was traded back to the Giants durings 1989, before playing with Philly again for the 1990-1993 seasons. That's by far his longest stint in a city. Here's where it gets crazy. In 1994 he's with the Yankees, then in '95 he's making his 3rd go around in San Fran. In '96 he's with the Mariners and then is traded back to his beloved Phillies for his 3rd go-around there as well. He plays part of the '97 season with the Cubbies before being traded to San Fransisco, again, for the 4th time. Why doesn't San Fransisco just hold on to this guy if they are going to trade for him every other year? The Giants cut him loose and he plays '98 with the Cubbies, who just traded him away, then they let him go to Atlanta for part of the '99 season before trading back for him. Cubs... Don't sign a guy, trade him, sign him, let him go, then trade for him all in 3 seasons! You are worse than San Fransisco!! Terry then plays the 200 season with Atlanta, they apparently weren't too impressed and he played the 2001 season with LA who then traded him to Pittsburgh. Part of his 2002 season was spent with Cleveland before they traded him to LA.

Post-'94 he hasn't spent more than 1 season in the same city. The man has made 18 stops in 17 seasons, played in 9 different cities, made multiple stops with 5 teams, and made 4 stops with the Giants!

I dunno, I could ramble on with more stats regarding his constant moving, but I'm spent trying to analyze it. That's some crazy s**t.

Nope,it's not Terry Mulholland but you're close, actually it's pitcher Mike Morgan. He is has the most teams of any player in sports history,he's played for 16 different teams. That has to suck,I know he's played for the Cubs twice, the Diamondbacks,Phillies and a whole bunch of other teams.

    Mike Morgan

Okay,I did some research.Mike has played over 4 decades in the league for over 12 not 16 teams which is an MLB record. He started off with the Athletics and has since then played for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs (twice),St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

    Longest for One Team?

By contrast, who has played the longest for just one team who is still active in the majors? Gwynn and Ripken took their 20-year careers out of contention for this answer when they retired last year.

By the way, I recall hearing that Ripken and Gwynn were two of only 17 players to play at least 20 years in the bigs and do it all with one team.

Tom Glavine has 16 years entirely with the Braves. I don't know if anyone has more than that.

If he did, and has managed them properly, and they're all rented out, he could have some nice cash flows coming too him.
