Mitre Tempest Pro for just kickin' around in the street.

Adidas Fevernova Club Pro (JFA Asian SMU)

I keep finding random balls. Just recently I found a Geo Merlin Vapor. Sold it off though.

    Balls

I like the Mitre balls especially, they seem to have a much easier feel to them. I've had used many of them and although they are sometimes temperamental (matter of using the right psi. when inflating the ball) you have no problems.

It's also kind of sad that it's no longer the ball of choice in the Premiership.

I've also used Adidas, but I find their balls to be hard to figure in the sense that their touch is gentle and what any player would want, just that i think it looses it's shape after awhile or very quickly.

Spurs 74 i couldnt agree with you more, but in a market like football, only the big guns like nike and adidas can afford to release as many bals a year as they do, which leaves people like mitre on the downside. Also it is a UK brand.

Mitre balls just seem to have a purity about them that adidas and nike dont, moreso adidas

when you look at a normal mitre ball, like the one they were using in the premiership not too long ago, it was all white with the mitre triangles, whereas now, you see balls like the fernove, green/gold. It just doesnt seem right :(

Mybe because being a brit ive grown up with the white ball i dunno, but my favourite ball is the ISO England Ultimax. Just feels so nice. I love nothing more than the fact that you can pump it up for hours (unless it busrts:(), and yet still when you hit it it feels like youve hit a spring its so spongy.

    Benvolio,

we must have been separated at birth....lol

I like that you mentioned "purity" about the Mitre ball. seems all the legends of the game were delighting the world w/ 18 panel balls (not necessarily Mitres)

If you told me this sooner, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU MY ISO England !!! I had to give it away like I said; it has a different behavior when you inflate it...and my feet felt like they had been kicking cement blocks!!!! they don't put psi. limits for nothing so i had to learn the hard way....LOL

I bought a Mitre Tempest at Target here in the states and painted over it with safe white paint because truthfully I'm turned off by the triangles (makes it look like 1970's b/w diamond ball) they are ugly, but I still get that great touch. I still would like to get me an ISO, but maybe the high-grade version at a price. At least now, the ISO models are a return to basics!!!!

yeah! i really wish they would go back to leaving the balls white. they're better seen. I strain my eyes if I have to see a gold ball on the TV....LOL
