    On my bike
These are in no particular order...

    1) 2003 WWC champs = USWNT. Hopefully beating the snot out of France in the process.
    2) Contraction of the Charge :D.
    3) April haters to recognize the fact that she has a better clue than 99.999% of us lurking BigSoccer all freaking day long and she FINALLY earns the respect of us idiot fans after #1 on my list is completed. Most of us here that bitch and moan about April's coaching moves couldn't coach our way out of a potato sack.
    4) Beat v Freedom in FC3 at Spartan. And this game is called a draw and both teams are named co-FC3 champs.
    5) For big time WUSA/USWNT matches to be banned at RFK.
    6) My WUSA scarf collection to be complete.
    7) A better Beat and Freedom website.
    8) For Mia to win 2003 WUSA MVP, FIFA POTY, and US Soccer POTY. I like watching Mia haters squirm in their own pig sweat.
    9) A HUGE influx of investment $$$ so that the WUSA is around when our daughters are eligible for the WUSA draft.
    10) For some folks to take the "anal" out of "analysis". Hey...soccer is a sport and sports in the US is entertainment. Take a chill pill and kick back and have some damn fun.
    11) For certain folks to NOT attend FC3 in Spartan.
    12) WUSA expansion beginning in the PNW. Oh crap...I think I may have just opened up a can of worms with that one .
    13) For certain WUSA teams to follow in the lead of the Cyberrays in terms of running a team.
    14) PAX matches to air at 4pm ET so that it doesn't interfere with the RSN matches on Saturdays.

    1) See the USWNT win the World Cup. Revenge on the Boob Grabbers!!

    2) Watch Mia have a stellar year again. She's gonna tear it up. :D The haters will wish they'd never been a hater at all!!

    3) I wanna see the Freedom win FC3. I don't really care against who, as long as the Freedom win.

    4) An Abby jersey available for sale on the Freedom site. T-shirt is fine and dandy, but I want a jersey, dammit!!

    5) I want to see Abby on the roster at the World Cup. The team needs another big girl. Cindy can't do it all by herself. We need another giant in there when CP runs out of gas.

    6) I want to see at least one National team match and one WUSA match.

    I think that's it...I'm gonna keep it at a minimum. :D

    selfish Mia hommer checking in.

    In no particular order:
I want Mia to continue kicking ass. I would love to see her play 20 full games next season and lead the league in scoring, set the league record for hattricks in one season... basically I want her to set the bar so high that no one in this generation of players will ever reach it. (is that selfish of me?)

I want Mia to go to China and have the tourny of her life. I want to see her get the golden boot.

I wanna see the Freedom at FCIII and I wanna see Mia hoist the cup.

I agree with Fear. I wanna see Mia win everything next year. League MVP, OP of the year, US soccer POTY, FIFA POTY, WWC POTY... why? because I'm selfish and It would make the haters mad. :D

I wanna see Siri out play every keeper in the league.

I want a new WNT highlight video.

I wanna see Julie play the most increadible soccer of her career. I wanna see her take the Spirit into the playoffs. And the NT into the championship game.

I want our NT to beat the crap out of Norway each time we play them next year.

I want the future of the league to be resolved. Can we convince that powerball winner that women's soccer is the best thing on earth?

I want WUSA off PAX and onto.... hell why not UPN?

And I want Nike to stop being jackasses!

I have lots of wishes that I could list, but I'm only gonna list the one that I wish for the most.
I wish for the continued success of the WUSA.

No, scratch that, I wish for undreamed of success for the WUSA.

I'm talking sold-out stadiums, a major television station to broadcast the games, sponsers fighting for the right to throw money at the league, and unparalleled support by each team's city.

Folly, perhaps. But what good is it to waste your wishes on trivial things? It's my dream, dammit!

and while i'm wishing, how about a fc3 victory for the beat? :D

I wish for Tom Sermanni to have success in NY. Great coach, great guy.

I wish for the CyberRays to get back on track (which they will do).

I wish for all these players who get married and take on both names to just pick one name.

I wish for the WUSA to get great TV ratings, more great fans and an exciting end-of-season playoff race.

For the WUSA to survive 2003 and build on that to prosper, to not become the 21st century's version of the ABL. If that doesn't happen, none of the below will matter.

    And now, local-related hopes;

For my hometown to experience the joy of Philadelphia's first major pro sports title since May 31, 1983, and for that to come August 24, 2003.

    For the Charge to be accepted as the city's 5th pro team by more than just this loudmouth ;), and for them to end the city's championship drought first;

    For me to be less hyper on here (not at Villanova on game day);

    For a healthy Kelly Smith; actually, that would be good for the league as well, since she is a one of a kind athlete;

For the Charge/Freedom August 6, 2003 grudge match to be the sequel to the first Philly-Washington Body Bag Game (11/12/90 at the Vet), except Team Mia's post-season aspirations take a bone-jarring hit, let's just clear that up.

And for the Villanova return of that roller derby skater wannabe, (and we won't mention Ms. Wambach's name at all here ;-p) makes the Philly fans booing Kobe Bryant and Scott Rolen sound like a library in comparison...

For the Charge to not take the virtual boot off the throat of their opposition in the final three weeks of the season; to build up a head of steam, and to win on the west coast once in a while. I'd settle for even one win in the late, late summer :p

1- The U.S. team kicks butt in China.

2- The WUSA generates more interest among sponsors, investors, and fans, increasing profits.

3-The N.Y. Power shock the WUSA and win the
    championship!

    I wish for:

    1) All the USWNT'ers staying healthy so the can...

    2) Kick ass and win the WC again.

    3) All the Beat players stay healthy and positive.

    4) The Beat finally bringing the FC trophy home.

    5) The Beat site not being so sucky.

    6) The WUSA, and soccer in general, getting support from everyone everywhere.

    7) Me being able to go to the SJ/Beat game on August 6th.

    8) I'm with M9 on the WNT video thing. Come on US Soccer and make some of us happy...

    9) Say "so long" to PAX.

    10) The term "ping" during WUSA broadcasts will no longer be said.

    11) That those of us who support the league and players continue to do so, and get other's to be just as enthusiastic.

    :)

    1. The USWNT win the WWC in China.
    2. The San Diego Spirit win FCIII with Foudy, Mac and Fawcett leading the team as never before.
    3. Mia to have an awesome year and raise the bar of excellence yet another notch.
    4. WUSA to secure the future of the league and be able to expand to more cities.
    5. Attend a WUSA game...anywhere!
    5. Another fandom filled year to us all!

WNT wish: I want the USWNT to win the World Cup with a lineup of vets. I like the young'uns too, but I desperately want the vets who have done so much for soccer to stay healthy and taste victory again so that they can completely wash away Sydney and go out on top.

WUSA wish: Freedom wins FC3, preferably over Philly or the Beat, but I won't be that picky.

Player wish: I'm with those of you who want Mia to own up. Besides winning all the awards, I want her to push her international scoring record even higher, to a level that no one else will ever come close to reaching.

WOHOOO! yeah Mel! You think third time's the charm?

    1) at least a 75% increase in ratings, investments, and fan support for MLS, WUSA, MNT, and WNT. and continued success

    2) ABC PAYING BIG $$$ to broadcast MLS, WUSA, MNT, and WNT games

    3) USA WNT win the WWC

4)Beat to win FCIII (beating Carolina 3-0 in semis...oh ok, lets make it a funner game..3-2 on a 2nd OT golden goal by a Sawa bicycle kick assissted by serlenga, parlow, and hopper)

    5) League to be ready for expansion with[...]"sponsers fighting for the right to throw money at the league, and unparalleled support by each team's city."(Mel)

6)For soccer to be accepted by the mainstream public

    7)Me to attend the WWC

8)To attend FCIII (granted the Beat's in it)

    9) for Aleisha Cramer to come back to the WNT :( (she would have been a star)

    10)Better reffing

**anything else positive that will help soccer in general**

    I wish for

    1) France to advance beyond the group phase of the World Cup.

    2) The Charge to win the Founder's Cup 3-0 over the Beat with goals by Pichon, Smith and Martin.

    3) Canada to win the World Cup and to continue to show the world their impressive team with two of the world's finest young players in Christine Sinclair and Kara Lang.

    4) More money to be invested into the WUSA and for the WUSA to get out of debt.

    5) A truly nationally televised game every Saturday night at 7:00 EST.

    6) The New York Power to bounce back from last season's losing ways with their two great strikers, the small but mighty Tiffeny Milbrett and the underheralded Emily Janss leading the way.

    7) More countries around the world to put more of their resources into women's soccer on the national as well as on the domestic level.

    8) A team to challenge the supremacy of Brazil in South America. I hope it will be either Argentina or Peru. But if it were Venezuela that would be great for a country without much soccer success.

    9) Kelly Smith to be healthy again and playing for the Charge. While a good number of the league's defenders may not totally agree with a healthy and strong Smith for the Charge, she is one of the most exciting players in women's soccer now and it would be such a big loss for the league to have her not playing.

    10) the WUSA to continue to bring in more players from around the world and not just from the best teams. There are gems on lesser known teams. There are tons of great players from around the world who deserve a chance to be in the WUSA and who will make the league even better with their skills. Let's get Veronica Phewa, Megan Chávez, Karmen Vais and Anica Korpiè in the WUSA.

It's Korpic but with the half circle over the "C" that makes it a hard "C" in the Slavic languages. Apparently, this site translated that as an "e"
