Recently, one of my granddaughters was watching Trolls, and I recognized several of the songs. So when it was over I told her (she's 9) that these songs have been around a long time - some before her parents were born - so I pulled up three of them on youtube and let her watch the originals. (I've done this before; they usually enjoy it........for a bit.)

Anyway, I'll share them here since I'm bored......and you can't stop me.



The first thing she asked me was, "Why is she dressed like that?". I said it was just her 'look'. She was excited that she was also the singer who did "Girls Just Want To Have Fun".

 

I'd forgotten how beautiful Art Garfunkel's voice is.

Anyway, that's my three; I'm done......Carry on.

 

I may have to watch Trolls just for the music.

 

And I gotta admit, all the songs are done very well. I'm not sure who the voices are (I guess I could look it up); Justin Timberlake and Ariana Grande are two. The others are probably artists I'm not familiar with.

I'm not even ashamed to admit I'm an owner of a few Taylor Swift albums.
