That album...was pretty bad considering how famous and highly rated it is...Yikes. I thought I liked it 20 years ago...

Perhaps I was not in the right mood. Maybe I'll revisit it later.

 

Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith (1984)

Luckily this one is still just as glorious as I remembered.

 

Not usually my kind of music, but it's catchy and the backup vocals are anomalous.

How can a 42 year old album sound so young? Definitely one of my favourites.

 

Is that album worth a listen?

 

I may not be the best judge, as I'm a massive McCartney fan, but I quite like this album. I rate it more highly than the subsequent Egypt Station. I'd check out New, Save Us, and Queenie Eye wherever you might stream stuff to see if those do anything for you.
