This album is coming back to life on me-- I'm getting a whole new feel for/from the lyrics... "A can of beans or blackeyed peas, some Nescafe and ice, a candy bar, a falling star, or a reading from Doctor Seuss;" ...and suddenly an appreciation of just how hard the vocal on "Everybody Hurts" actually is; there's a lot of strange dynamics in it, pushes where most songs you'd kind of slack. No wonder he got a hernia...
