Roeder in, more wins on the trot. I don't like the thought of Graham or O'leary coming in and I don't think there is anyone else up for the job.
Just curious, and this may be dumber than dirt, but is there any sort of beer or drink that is a Hammer beer or drink?
Not that I know of. You can drink at either "the Green Man" or Boleyn. I had a Guinness at the Boleyn back in 1999. In 2000 I took a picture from the middle of the pitch of the Bobby Moore stand. I should have taken pictures of me in the locker rooms. Maybe next time.
Guiness it is then. No more Newcastle. Need to drink something other than this barcode beer even though I am an Alan Shearer fan.
Nice site, but I've never heard any of the London Hammers mention the Prince of Wales. The definitive one is the Boleyn. Still drinking Fosters is wrong.
Maybe the scarfers, but trust me about the hardcore fans, i.e. Two Bob himself, Justin from Two Bob and many others being at PoW after the match.
Who is Two Bob? Who is Justin from Two Bob? Having been hanging around West Ham's mailing list for the past seven years, I can't believe its been seven years, I've never heard of it. Seems odd.
And you call yourself a Hammer.... http://www.2-bob.co.uk/ (waiting for Frieslander to back me up on the Prince of Wales)
Eddie, for drinking after the match the Prince of Wales was it. People talk about the Boleyn or the Green Man before the match but all the cool kids used to go to the PoW after. It closed shortly after last season so it was my first and only after match experience. (I'll be completely honest, I thought it was cool to see ICF guys in there.)
Agreed. Our 'contact' said Cass usually showed up later into the evening but we had to get back to central London. It would have been a trip to meet him.
