No one can tell me that there are six rounds of players that are better than P. Slayer and I. Joy? It is just like Twellman. I am happy with United's first three picks, but I think the rest were just crap!! I don't think that Slayer should have been the first pick or in the first round for that matter, but come on. I've seen Slayer play in the U.S. youth systems, with Donovan and Beasley, and he is good.

As I understand it, Phil Salyer didn't sign in time to go into the draft, and Ian Joy apparently failed a physical. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I read these pieces of information.

    Otherwise,

What does that mean about Slayer, is he open for anyone to try and sign?

And whats the deal with knox Cameron? Why wasn't he picked? He is one of the top three target forwards in the draft and I figured he'd go in the early part of the third round. I also wanted DC to get him cuz I think we need that kind of forward.

    1. Sayler didn't sign. A buddy of his who posts on the boards said MLS was dicking him around.

    2. Joy did fail the physical according to the top drawer soccer guys. never heard more.

    3. Cameron did not enter the draft.

That's strange cuz I thought I had read somewhere that Cameron had signed. Well perhaps we'll sign him next year.

And oh yeah, I was wrong with his name as well, its Sayler like you say above. Not Slayer or Salyer.

Christ, this is like a bad comedy routine!

It's S-A-L-Y-E-R. Honest. Not Slayer (loved the album cover posted above) or Sayler.

Here's his bio from his Marland days. Note the spelling.

Maybe the real reason noone drafted him is because all the MLS teams spelled his name wrong too.

    ;)

Slayer had a song called "I Hate You".

As for the player, I'm not too sure.
