Tremendous opportunity lost: All the old threads from all the great Mutiny and Fusions fans have been lost forever!!! All the colorful banter, the commentary, the game reports, the pictures, .... everything. There were so many great posters from Florida that have gone on to other boards, or just don't visit here at all.

Unless they are restored, this forum should be put out of its misery.

the hacker attack of last november had a lot to do with your lost

the backup on hand did not restore more than 3 or 5 wks of posts

does anyone have a photo of cesar the paint-faced, well known fan?

Is there any other forum for mutiny fans? if so, what for? Is like having a place to meet and talk about the rowdies.

Haven't been on here forever. Don't know what brought me here today but is surely disappointing to see everything wiped out and no threads concering soccer in the Tampa Bay area. Will be a long lonely summer driving by RJS and seeing nothing but darkness. And if that is not enough to rip your guts out check out this link.

You'd think that for (US$14.18 million) that would have bought him a game at RJS during the Man U tour???

Well, sadly, there isn't really much to talk about anymore, is there?

I think many of us thought that having had a fanbase of over 10,000 would ensure that at least an A-League team came to the area, but it doesn't look like that will happen. And, reading the garbage from Garber, there is no hope of an MLS team in our lifetime.

    So sad.

In Mr. Garber's words, he did "everything
possible to save the team." Total crap!

I like BigJohn just happened to stop in. This all still hurts to see the Tampa Bay area without Pro soccer. Seems like it was just yesterday that we were getting ready to start a new Mutiny season. It's just hard to come here and talk about it. Later guys.

MLS & cronies are a great bunch of people,
they dont lie, and they know it all.

    They are loved by all.
    Phenomenal SSS are in
place, they know where all the soccer passion,
    and great markets are..

Fantastic futbol is played by all the players,
in a great 10 team, fast growing league, that I cant
    wait to watch

At 2.2 million last year, ATENDANCE was way up :)
compared to 2.7 million a few years ago.

MLS is a wonderland, full of great soccer knoledge,
    fans, owners, and management.

Young European and S American players cant wait until retirement,
to come and play in MLS.

Leagues around the world are trying hard, to model themselves to the 10 team
format, with 8 playoff teams and no relegation, as soon as possible,
and raise their level of play, to that of MLS

Yeah :) all is great in MLS !

    Hey all,

I agree wholeheartedly with you about losing all the Mutiny stuff. It's very sad! Also, I know what you mean about driving by RJS. And the stuff with the Glaziers and ManU? When I heard about that, I was furious! It's just another reason to hate them, I think.

Anyway, I'm now in NYC and enjoying soccer year around (sorry folks). In fact, I have the dilema of wanting to attend three different games at the same time on Sunday! This stinks! But, I have to say, I love it! NYC is awesome. And, no, I won't become a Metrostars fan. I just can't bring myself to do that. Guess I'll go when their games don't conflict with the Flames games, and I'll go to cheer the other team or the referee, and to see former Muting players.

That's the latest with me. I hope everyone is doing fine back in the bay area. If you want to contact me, you can do so at: lisa@westchesterflames.com

I really miss the Mutiny too. I got to be a fan the last 2 years of their existence. I was one of their European fans who loved going to their games. Even if they sucked sometimes. I've been to games in other States andto lower leagues in Britain, but there really is nothing like going to see your local Florida team every other week. The kids probably got screwed more than we did, they were the future!

I miss the mutiny too, but now I'm in London and there is more than enough soccer here.

I'll soon be moving to Norway and no doubt there will be plenty of soccer to follow. But it will only remind me of what we had and what we sure as
SH!T had better get back at some point in the future.
