WFAN doesn't even talk about hockey, why would they discuss soccer? When Francessa and Russo first started about 14 years ago, they were fun to listen to. Now, they're both a bunch of pompous asses.
You gotta wait till Joel Tolleson is on the air... he is a NUFC / soccer fan..... unfortunately he is often relegated to the flash....
Especially Francessa. He thinks he is a god or something and always has to be right. He doesn't even let callers finish their sentence, then starts ripping them apart. And of course, the Angry Puppy just sits there and agrees with him like all good obedient dogs do.
Please, please, please, stop. Forget the futility of this for a moment. I don't WANT anyone on WFAN (outside of Tolleson - and when does he ever get his own show, besides in the middle of the night?) talking about soccer. Especially Mike and the Mad Dog - they can't even talk about hockey with any degree of expertise; why would I want to hear them talk about soccer, which they have absolutely no knowledge or interest in? Know when and where to pick your battles, for God's sake.
the problem with the Soccer fans we let the radio, TV stations, and newspaper get away to easy I'm not talkiing about MSG, and the Star Ledger, they do a excellent job, I'm talking about the majority
this is not a joke this is the reality, and the Empire supporters should be all over this stations, that's their job to support team
this is the same station on Imus in the morning, the made fun of the fires in California, with all of their supporting cast laughing, this is america and first amendment, but that's going a little bit too far. Got have feeling and support the people of California and hope we never have to go thru.
