It's impressive that Germany is the only team with 0 goals against in this tournment. Will France be able to break this spell?
Yes i remember very well. But it is almost anecdotic compared to this other story. : Laure Boulleau, injured during the previous match, replaced by Amel Majri who was 22 and not a starter at this time. She and all the team made a very good match (maybe the best of the french NT since more than 10 years), dominated the game, was ahead leading by one goal, until the 84' min and this stupid f***ing* Amel 's handball (this kind of handball which didn't even cancel a possible goal) I knew at this time that if France diddn't score during ET, we would lose on penalties... But it belongs to the past
Yeah back in 2015, she was one of the few French player who came through the mixed zone with many Senior players not stopping. She ended up crying in the middle of the interview. Not a nice moment.
Klara Bühl has tested positive for COVID-19 and is out of tomorrow's semi-final. All other players and staff have tested negative.

Germany wins on penalties.
Malard keeps seeming quite weak to me as an offensive terminal, but it is what it is: without Katoto I don't think there is a player making for a better set up in the roster. I kinda root for France, but actually I root for the team managing to be more spectacular. Yesterday I was rooting for Sweden in the beginning, but I must admit England was a deserving winner and I'd gladly bow to any team winning in a so convincing way.
Finally, Jule Brand from start. I'm hoping for goals tonight, so my prediction is: Germany 3 - 2 France
If France wins someone else has to make the thread for the final. Should be no problem as France has many fans here.
Was thinking Mateo might actually start in place of Geyoro. Wouldn't be surprised to see her impact the match coming off the bench like she did vs the Dutch.
Since I have been regularly posting in these threads I thought that I should report that I am having a very bad day and so will not be posting much if at all today. I apologize to those that enjoy my posts (Both of you) and I guess this is a cause for joy for the rest of you. I think Germany wins 4-2 but it will be interesting. I will be watching with interest but not a lot of energy. My granddaughters are wanting to fly to the US to take care of me but they will not because it takes too long.
A first half dominated by decent open field play and some rather horrendous goalkeeping. While the was one good save it was a save I would expect any halfway decent goalkeeper to make. The goal keepers ar punching (badly) balls that should be caught and even misjudging flighted balls. (a VERY basic skill for a keeper. The French 'keeper is worse that the German but that may only be because she has had more to do. Truly bad goalkeeping is the highlight of this match so far. 1-1 at the half and it really does not look like there is likely to be better in the 2nd. Are we really sure the French goalkeeper is not from Australia? She appears to "go walkabout" at times. BTW: The painkillers are quite pleasant today.
