"A move to Bestikas isn't in the cards", but what of Fenerbache or Galatasaray, who he was also linked to by the Turkish press Anytime a Yank moves to Turkey, I'm genuinely surprised because my rule of thumb is just to ignore any and all "Yank in a top-5 league club to Turkey" rumors
Would have mixed feelings for a January EPL move. Probably to a team struggling (unless it's Fulham, then I'd be very happy as Wes is so much better than Lukic), no time to get to know the team, thrown the wolves, crazy fans. We will see. Most likely they come to a deal at Juve.
Athleti and La Liga would be cool. I think Wes is a Simeone type player. Can ball in like 6 different positions and has an engine for days. But he should probably just sign like another 2-3 year deal with Juve and rack up another 60-100 Juve appearances; legendary SerieA US player.
Mid season moves rarely go very well but I watch more PL than anything so I'd still welcome the move. Spurs could use a Wolverine in their squad these days.
Call me skeptical that an Athletico Madrid move would go well for Wes - it is mainly other factors, not necessarily his personal ability, that have me thinking a Juve stay or a move elsewhere would be more beneficial.
I'm also okay with him signing with Milan to be back with his first true managerial love: But, more than anything, I think the only clubs that appeal to him outside of England are clubs in the CL, and that's probably what he'll prioritize.

Frustrating match all around. Wes has been run to the ground recently, Spalletti def. needs to rotate a little more. Need 3 points against Benfica on Wednesday, so I don't know if that is the match to rest Weston. Napoli at the weekend so another big 3 points following.
he actually hasn't been in the last couple of Juve matches I've caught. He definitely looks tired. Not "out of shape", but just "too many km on his legs and possibly dealing with some niggles".
Adds another CL goal to his resume. Beautifully worked as well 2014086131877323192 is not a valid tweet id edit: apparently Wes has scored in each of Juve's last 3 CL matches? Hell yeah Wes!
2nd Yank in history to hit the 10 goal mark in the Champions League, now trailing Puli by just 3 goals. CP better hit the ground running next fall if he wants to hold on to his title...
looks like that tweet might've been taken down, here's one that won't WESTON MCKENNIE WIZARDRY ✨ The #USMNT midfielder has now scored in three straight #UCL appearances 🔥 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/7FGif3KRPt— CBS Sports Golazo ⚽️ (@CBSSportsGolazo) January 21, 2026
Wes has been so impressive this season. Dude is balling out wide and looks like a serious goal threat when marauding at the CAM position. He went from RWB to CAM in this game and was close to scoring a hat trick. Also had a couple of great crosses at RWB in the first half that were not put home. Dude has had several relatively serious injuries over the years but always comes back and plays with physicality. Starting to enjoy his low-key goal celebrations....
He might have found his position under Spalletti. Not quite a CAM, not quite a false 9, not quite a wide midfielder. I'd be curious what his heat map looked like today. The technical and tactical improvement from him since he joined Juve is remarkable. It goes to show that training with the best everyday is a huge advantage and dedicated players will improve throughout their 20s, not just from 18-23.
Swiss army knife. Guy can play anywhere at a high level and look good doing it. A manager's must have on the roster. Not sure this Juve contract stuff isn't posturing and incorrect media assumptions but the guy would be a lock to keep if he was on my roster.
