......I think we should just start calling the Western conference the Premiership and the Eastern is Division 1. Our worst team is better than their best, by 1 point. :D The best part is......Quakes are kicking ass in the best conference. When we get Steve Ralston, we will be un-beatable. :D

I noticed that in the paper this morning. The entire Western Division higher than the entire Eastern. I don't know if Ralston would fit in with the Quakes team--he's rather homely.:D

Yeah, but he DOES have the Quake-trendy buzz cut.

Just wait til I get going on about how badly we need Pablo Mastroeni behind him at right back. Wade and Pablo as our outside backs......Ralston and Lagos as our outside mids.....be still my heart......i mean that in a totally soccer sense by the way. :D

    I hadn't thought of that.
If we had all that talent (especially the addition of Pablo), we'd lawn-mower our way over the rest of the league. The Quakes would have 50 points and the next team would have 30. Hell, those others are jealous as it is, don't make it worse. (No, crap, turn the screws on 'em, especially LA.) :D

Looks like all 5 Western teams have a chance to qualify for the MLS Cup conference... the Eastern teams look battered as it is...

Thank goodness for parity, though no one can beat the Quakes (except when they are on the road, but that will change...)

    Cheers!

Too bad a team from the junior varsity division will get a #2 playoff seed...

Don't be surprised is the Blueshirts and some other Western Conference team meets at Gillette Stadium in the Final.

The Western Conference has all 5 sides playing very well so far.

3 trophies, plus 1 for winning the Western Conference would be a great haul for the Quakes!

    Cheers!

don't look to far ahead and hope that the Eastern Divison makes a clean sweep of the Western this weekend, thus allowing us to keep our 7 point cushion while decreasing the game-in-hand formula.....
