I'm pretty confident today's subs were mainly rotational. Although there's some question about Gabby (as you can see from my/others earlier posts) I feel that Mikel has finally heard the gospel of rotation or minutes-management, which is absolutely required to get us through this every 3-4 days period. But because of the lack of RB cover I do agree that Timber isn't gonna get much rest and I pray he can handle it. With the recent news about Partey & Merino, I'm now maybe more concerned about MF than back line?
You may be joking, but I actually still rate KT, or at least I used to (haven't actually seen him play in a LONG time). Anyway, I think he could still be an asset for us, assuming we were to need him, and assuming he isn't sold in the meantime.
Gabriel's a monster. WHU stinks, glad we got that GD up. Saka and MO, SPESHA. Timber/Califiori. I see the vision. Why are we playing United on Wednesday?
No. I think there may have been a time that was a thing but no longer, or maybe it was only ever ‘unofficial.’

At what point are we going to acknowledge and accept that Saka is one of the very small handful of best footballers on the planet?
I thought that free kick and a later one for an alleged foul by Jorginho were ridiculous. In fact, I'd say the Jorginho foul was even more farcical---didn't touch the West Ham player.
I still get a laugh when I see idiots on social media act as if there is a gulf between Salah/Palmer and Saka, despite the fact Saka is now on pace for an elite assist season and he has done it in 12 appearances. For G+A Saka is one behind Salah and ahead of Palmer.
Oh, my bad. I know historically the US system was based on some British law, including presumption of innocence but I thought the UK had moved away from that. I guess I am wrong.
Criminal Burden of proof doesn’t have much to do with pro sports IMO Pro sports is mostly contract law, employment law and quasi judicial systems in term disciplinary committees etc.
I’m aware, but it’s Day that y’all want gone, so the joke works better for a wide audience. As a non-OSU fan, I want them to fire him also: so UC can hire him! Sorry…you didn’t want to talk about it.
To get in the spirit for another London derby tomorrow, I just watched the 7-goal first half from this match. Pretty fun. A few random player thoughts toward the end… Odegaard: he’s really become a passing magician. That pre-assist dink to Saka for Leo’s goal was Messi like. He is so so good and so so important for our success. If he can’t keep up that form, or something close to it, I’m feeling optimistic about our chances. Gabriel: the PK was awarded for a punch to his head. And yet the ref for some inexplicable reason, did not summon anyone in to evaluate him… hello? Nevertheless, it didn’t look to me like the kind of contact that would induce concussion. But the fact that he did look slightly wobbly shortly thereafter, and they subbed him off at HT does make you wonder if they suspected concussion and were being extra careful with him. Then today I think I heard Mikel say “Gabriel felt some thing at West Ham“ so who the hell knows!
