Another HAPPY HAMMER here though my heart was in my mouth listening to the game live. The sound of all those singing fans made me wish I was there with them even though I have never been to Upton Park.I will have to rectify that if possible when I go home to Ireland for a visit in November. I have only seen the Hammers live once though I have followed them loyally from afar since 1970.That game was the Cup Final in 1980, forever etched in my memory!!!Bring on the QPR a week from Saturday. This time I WILL be in a pub somewhere in Boston watching!! Is the Final on at 3.00pm UK time? That will be 10.00am Boston time.Then off to the Razor to watch my other fav. team the Revs against $500,000 Freddy and the D C United. at 7.30pm.Isn't it GREAT to be a soccer fan!!!!!! Although I am a Spurs fan (For my sins) I was at the game last night as I am best mates with David Connolly`s sister so we always get free tickets. I have to say the atmosphere was pure electric. The crowd were fantastic they really got behind the team. Great game & great result. Next stop Cardiff & I cannot wait!! Congrats to all West Ham Fans.
Good luck WHU You were the better team over the 2 legs. I did, however, fancy our chances when it was still 1-0 at half time. You had good support at Summers in Arlington. Hope you go up. West Ham (and Ipswich) play the right way. Hope you are rewarded. And, er, "Brown Out!"
Report From Northern VA @ Summers Well, we had about six Hammers, a few curious Georges, and a single Ipswich fan. Ipswich fan was gracious and congratulated the claret and blue troopers. It was a good thing that Summers was empty because the six of us were pretty much making up for the MIAs. The celebration continued on to the replay at 7pm, where a greater number of Ipswich fans showed up. We kept it cool, wanted them to enjoy the match...of course, our celebrations erupted for the goals and the final. We are going to organize an all claret ad blue outing at summers for the final. Pass the word. Great to see the east coast folks had a great time, we certainly deserved that match as it's been a long time coming for us to see the top of the hill. Let's hope the boys keep their focus for the final and get us back on the Premiership, where we must redeem ourselves. UP THE IRONS!!!!

I figure about 25-30 Hammers and about 10 Tractor Boys. The atmosphere came over quite well on the television. The Ipswich support impressed me. I can't ever remember away support singing that loudly at the Boleyn over the TV. I can't make it for the final because a good friend of mine is getting married in Upstate NY that day. I'm more than a little dissappointed, but what can ya do?

Thank you sir... through this past season, I pulled for Chelsea, here in NOVA we've got a handful of them lads and they are classy and very good friends of mine and the other hammers. After all, Lampard, Cole and Johnson started up with West Ham, there's always that connection. PS-Think Abromavich can like persuade his other rich cousins to buy out Brown so that he can finallly be out?
