    Home.

Pearce may be out due to a back problem and Carrick may be on the bench.

    Very nice....

Needed this after a loss and a draw.

    Once again a commanding performance.

Here are the goals from last night. Defoe's goal is great. He runs onto an errant backpass from a CP defender. Instead of controlling the ball and trying to dribble around him, he dummies the ball and runs around the keeper to catch up with the ball and finish from a tight angle.

Was there any evidence of collaboration between Defoe and Conolly? It seems we kick the most ass when they work together and don't hog the ball.

Is "hogging the ball"? a football term? I don't think so...

From the message board posts I've seen there was actually passing.

check out the second goal, Mellor's first. Who is that who's walking right by Mellor not celebrating with him. Mellor stands by himself with no one coming up to him.
