    I can only pray that this is merely an attempt to gain some good PR for the club.

    I hope you are right, or maybe they know that Mrs. Roeder won't let him come back.

    I've heard from several people that his recovery could take years, not weeks.

    Maybe that is why they want him to stay as he would not be able to participate in team functions during his recovery?

    Let's say it takes him 18 months to recover, Sir Brooking stands in and gets us promoted. Glenn takes a payout and goes to another position in the club and we win the FA Cup in 2005.

    Sounds about right.

    I just don't see it happening. The FA Cup is attainable and Sir Trevor would look good holding it up with his Regis Philbin smile. Maybe its the Regis Philbin hair, who can tell
