Anyone out west down for a carpool to Columbus in February?

Share some costs, wave some flags, drink a beer (maybe two?) Orbitz has flights starting at $505, and I know that a road trip could be done cheaper - while having a whole lot more fun! :)

If you're coming from Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, CA, etc. I could meet you anywhere on the route... I'm in Montana.

If you're interested, let me know...

Count me as another flying out of LAX. The drive is just too far. Had it been SLC I would have considered driving, but not to Columbus.

Im taking the 6:30am flight for the reason is that im flying on standby, but there is a 10:50am to mdw. I think southwest is the cheaper than other carriers.

My group will be flying out of Ontario. The fares are a little bit more expensive, but going into LAX at four in the morning doesnt sound fun.

We will be arriving in Columbus at 6:10 i believe.

Who has booked their hotel reservations ?

you bet, the more the merrier! I got room for 4 total in the car(standard size sedan). Neither of us up front are very tall so it should be fairly comfortable back there. Are you a licensed driver?

It's a one (long) day drive to Denver for me - I'd like to tentatively reserve your 4th seat if you don't mind! ;) I gotta wait to see if the rest of my family wants to go to - if they do, then I'm taking my packed car all the way to Columbus. If it's just me, I'd MUCH rather carpool and share expenses/experiences with some fellow soccer nuts.

    I'll pm you... :)

Alright! That's 2 tentatives for the 3rd and 4th seats. And now my girlfriend is also contemplating joining...We might have to either rent an SUV or van, or start a caravan! Anybody else passing thru Denver want to adhere to a caravan? Would be cool to represent, show our colors thru all the states we pass!

Same here and my flight out of San Francisco is only $230. I think I paid twice that much four years ago.

Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express, and Days Inn are all less than a mile from the Stadium.
