Though I love ACC/east coast soccer, are there any westsiders out there? definitely some good soccer to talk about out there, in particular Stanford. They are just plain good. Todd Dunivant is very, very smart. They obviously were the best team in the country last year and though I've made some brash statements about the heels, predicting Stanford to make the final 4, to me, is a pretty safe bet. UCLA is also off to a good start, they're under a new coach? Like I said earlier, did see Washington play SC and was NAY impressed.
I'd have to say that Stanford is the top dog right now in college soccer, and it would not surprise me in the least to see them in Dallas. They were a complete team last year, and if not for an amazing two minutes from UNC, very easily could have played Indiana for the title themselves. Levesque gets some bad press for being overrated, but he seems to be in the right place. Overall, they play well together and Dunivant is a very, very good defender who also can attack.
