Oh boy... I'm looking forward to this game. 3 w's in a row, the last one VERY decisive... here's hoping it carries through for many more games!

    Line up predictions?

Hibbert is hurt, Neville is fine. I reckon it will be the same lineup that turned out against Villa.

per Steve Round today, all players are healthy. Hibbo gets way too much flak IMO. he's a quiet, solid right back and has done quite the job for us.

I could see this "safe" team:

    Howard
    hibbo, jags, distin, baines
    ossie gibbo nev felli peanut
    jela

    but I'd like to see:

    Howard
    hibbo, jags, distin, baines
    Mirallas gibbo felli peanut
jela naismith (switching sides as they feel like it)

hmmm... well let's see what the morning brings!

OT rant: the countdown clock on the official site, it says the right KO time, but it counts down to that time in my locality. so it's saying 21.5 hours now, which would take me to 3pm tomorrow afternoon my time, when KO if 3pm england local time... sheeshhhhh.... how can they do that to me? make me do some subtraction to find the right time to wake up in the morning? (7am) Seriously annoying.

I know, but couldn't resist....club's site is now telling me 7 hrs 51 mins to kickoff, and I'm in the mts of Colorado for the weekend....so, it's actually just 51 mins....

lol. It must go off of the computer clock setting, which would be great, IF it changed the kickoff to local time too :)

Game has started... apparently if we win it's our best start in 19 years... :S

The announcer is singing Jela's praises, saying from the moment he showed up our fortunes have turned around and how true is that! although Peanut also came back at the same time, so I'm giving him credit too :)

We are playing fast passing feet-to-feet ball here... It's quite something!

uh oh, peanut was down for about 2 mins with an ankle injury... He's walking on his own at the moment... maybe milking it a tiny bit, but not sure what to think. SP isn't normally that much of an actor so to speak... I think he's back on now, the commentators haven't said anything... hmmm

    13th min. COYB

crap, gibbo off for hibbo, looks like an upper thigh/groin injury, not from a challenge, he was just kicking the ball a way up the side line.... that's not good.

Nev up in mid, hibbo at RB

WBA had a free header and we were REALLLLLLY lucky that he hit the crossbar... terrible breakdown in defense... not sure what happened there... Distin lost him or something...

    Anyway, thankfully still 0-0. COYB

A few FB friends have pointed out that Gibbo is our good luck charm. We haven't lost when he is playing for us... Let's see if him going off so early in the game changes that. :(

Jela with a very weak (slow) header on target from 15yds out, goalie had more than enough time to get over and save it.

holy crap, thank you Howard!!!!!! WBA goes in overdrive towards goal, 3 on 2 as we were caught out and Timmy comes up with a great save! w00t! He then smothered the follow up as well.

    3mins OT. COYB.

oh great... we start the 2nd with only 10 men... Felli had white tape, not blue on his socks or something... soooooo lame a reason to send a player back to the dressing room to change...

    ugh...so ridiculous.

well he's back now... like the ref couldn't wait 1 min for that to happen. grrr.

anyway. WBA player carded for a tackle on Naisy. he's been hitting naisy all day.

Horrific performance. I've never seen Baines give away the ball as much as he did today. Bubble burst from the opening few games.

I think we went in too cocky, WBA isn't Leyton Orient... Oh well. let's see how they do in the next game before seeing if it was just a slip up :)
