    But still winning. Marvellous.

Keane had a great debut. Looking like a leprechaun with an electric eel in his jockstrap. The hammer defenders were wary of him, and his skill got one of them sent off.

Seriously, it's looking good. Lets just hope we don't catch the Man U backlash on saturday!

yes, it's been some really ugly football, but unlike previous seasons we're getting results.

i think the winning part is benefiting from the lack of quality sides. the next two games will be much more difficult. still last year we would probably have dropped more games than we have.

on the flip side, i think the poor playing comes down to missing so many first teamers. i can't wait to see a spurs side that contains, anderton, carr, richards, king, redknapp, gardner, etherington, davies, sheringham, keane and keller. with bunji, docherty, ferdinand, sullivan and acimovic on the bench, and zeige, freund, poyet, blondel. well that's a pretty exciting squad easily capable of being up there with 2nd tier teams competing for that 4th champions league spot.

i think we have a very, very bright future with our back line (gardner, thelwell, king all being under 22, sol was a prat to leave, he could have built the best defensive unit in england around him). the midfield is coming along, hopefully we'll see a few more davies/etherington/blondel's coming through in the near future. it would also be nice to see another young striker come aboard, or see rebrov really get a chance to prove himself (theoretically a rebrov/keane partnership could terrorise the premiership)

hopefully Man U will be tired after a wednesday Champions League game. neing reported that gardner is out 3 weeks - the defense is already shaky enough.

Most of our woes have definitely been a result of our lack of first string players. I hope when these players start returning that we lose this habit of trying to give up an equaliser in record time every time we score. It really has wracked my nerves. I was a mess listening to the match against the Hamburgers.

Despite or shite form we are second in the table.

    GLORY GLORY SPURS !!!!!

I worry about what Ryan Giggs will do to the back line this weekend. It's been great that luck has been with Spurs. But luck evens out over the course of a season. The return of first team regulars will not prevent bad luck results.
