Props to the riot squad for the banner. Couldn't have said it better.

Frank said after the game he thought you could take the banner two ways....

The one he chose to suggest was that the fans who put up the banner were behind his statements and agreed that the team had reason to be tired, etc.

I tend to think they're tired of excuses and losses. I know I am.
Did anyone ask him if he expects to still be with the team next Saturday?

If frank is still with the G's come monday.

That tells me Jugen isnt that interested in the job.

And that the search will have to be a tad more extensive and take into the offseason.

It should have been more to the effect of "Fire Yallop!"

Well done RS. I couldn't think of any better sign to display. RS continues to do a splendid job and should truly be thanked by the FO for showing such devotion to such a crappy display of soccer. If they don't offer discounted section 138 seats for next year it will be criminal and I would be more than happy to voice my displeasure on your behalf.

Come on now. Everyone knows that the bed sheet was merely another way for LARS to show our hatred of Mexicans. It was merely act two of the sombreros and mariachis.

It think Frank is grasping at straws, at best, and being disingenuous at worst if he thought that sign was supporting the team. We're tired of losing.

I'm still not ready to boo the team yet.

The Riot Squad is a great group that continues coming to the games even when the results are not great. I remember reading somewhere that Donovan appreciates the R.S. and donated some money to the group to help them out.

How is anyone NOT booing this sad sack of sucks?

Also, this is like that Chris Rock bit. If a homeless man has a funny sign, he hasn't been homeless for very long. Same goes for the Galaxy. We suck so bad that we can't afford funny/witty signs. "FIRE YALLOP" and "FIRE LALAS" are about all we should be able to muster.

Please get me up to speed on this...was the banner based on something Frank said lately about being knackered?

I've been gone for a week...should have stayed on vacation longer apparently.

He said the team was effing knackered, among other things, in the infamous Pachuca post-game interview. Here's the audio of it.
