There must be many add-ons there. I’d also guess money bags ManU Will have to sell some deadwood. So the whole team then. (I’ll be here all week).
Manchester United have agreed a fee in principle of 85m euros (£73m) with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho. The 21-year-old England winger, who is yet to have a medical or agree personal terms, is expected to sign a five-year contract with the option of a sixth. The fee, payable over five equal instalments, will see Sancho become the second-most expensive English player of all time behind Harry Maguire.
it would I agree. but then again, Levy has the tightest purse strings in the Prem. my guess is he and Rafa would get along until about half-time in his first game.
This is what we have to compete with. The likes of Utd, City Chelsea will continually throw big cash at transfers until enough good ones stick. Liverpool on the other hand cannot afford to make expensive mistakes . Our pockets are not as deep.
true but in the last few years I'd put our signings up against just about anyone's - except maybe Shitty and Chelski, for obvious reasons.
Spot on, Sam , our signings have been mostly very good and lots of theirs have been so so but they can just keep throwing more money at it until they get it right. But if we spend big and end up with a couple more Keita's the picture won't look so rosy. Edwards margin for error is much tighter.
Agree with Sam and Tips on Nuno to Spurs - why did they faff around with anyone else? He is quality and will definitely improve them.
citeh at least have a strategy of sorts with Pep in place in terms of finding players that will fit within the confines of his ideology. What is united's style of play? What has their transfer strategy been over the last ~decade other than throw a lot of money at players that don't have a specified place in a specified system?
You really don’t understand Spurs-y, do you? Give them the best manager of the PL era (Ferguson?), the best squad, the best backroom and the best stadium and they’d still find a way to finish 5th in a 2 horse race, all the while bleating on about how great next season is going to be. And if, by miracle of miracles, they managed to achieve any success, they’d then fire the manager and sell their best 6 players, saying it’s for the best.

United after Sancho, might land Varane & Camavinga(30 Mil release clause, why aren't we in for him) As much as Ole's at the Wheel, that's 3 Quality players.
Sancho is an excellent signing which doesn't please to say. Now I'm reading Fabrizio Romano saying ,Manchester United are progressing in direct contacts to sign Eduardo Camavinga who would also be a sound signing for them.
