Wiedwald with several scenes of questionable positioning. He's quite fortunate that the opponent today is just Lotte or else we could be down even more.
Hopefully in the second half we see Kainz and Eggestein on for Yatabare and Bartels. Thy has also been invisible for much of the first half.
The experiment of playing a DM like Yatabare along the wing needs to end. Damn, I miss Oztunali... Kainz should be starting, or at least give Hajrovic a chance again.
Yikes, we finally get the 1-1 equalizer thanks to Junuzovic from a cross by Sternberg. But looks to be a head to head collision between Juno and the Lotte defender. Both players now down, hope everyone is alright.
I dont know whether to post this here or in the rivalry thread but since it is a German saying no one will get anyway Ill do it here: volle Lotte!!!
Lol Pathetic game. Skripnik was out-coached by these guys tactically and in preparation. Our boys went for a stroll in the park while Lotte should have won by 2 or 3 more goals.
Actually from Toronto, Ontario. But I've always been a Bundesliga fan and started feeling a connection with the club since the days of Klose, Diego, Özil, Hunt, etc. Also travelled to Germany multiple times and identify quite well with the city of Bremen and its people.
I see. The good ol' times under Schaaf. I thought BC because of the one link about poutine you posted showed a restaurant in terminal city.
Ah, Smoke's Poutinerie. They're actually founded in Toronto originally too but have now expanded to many locations across the country.
I heard the 6 is nice. About Kitchener et all from Mittermeier's documentary. Also where I stole the speed limit joke from

Well done by the team on this 3-0 win over Würzburger Kickers. I have to say that the first 50 minutes were rather poor. Likely there might have been some nerves after last year's first round exit. But the run the play really opened up after Veljkovic had his rather lucky goal go in. Nice to see Kruse and Maxi Eggestein get on the score sheet as well. Johannes also making his pro competitive debut. Both brothers on the pitch at the same time near the end.
