I know it's out of character for me, but I wasn't actually too doomy about it. I saw it was a Cloudflare issue and figured it'd clear up eventually. But I am curious about the cause of this hiccup. (But we should take this as a reminder to keep our Doom Bunkers well stocked with supplies!)
Cloudflare was throwing up an error when you tried to load the site. I don't remember the specific code, but I believe it was an error on Cloudflare's end.
I assumed it was a DDOS attack (for what reason though?!) that Cloudfare decided to Nip in the bud, before the BS admins had a chance to address it from their side?
In a way, it's probably good the US hosted the 1994 World Cup and not an earlier one, setting up some sort of timeline where BigSoccer exists and the US hosts the 2002 or 2006 World Cup. If we thought the site was unstable in *our* timeline...
