He might just be my new favourite current Liverpool player. Not just because of his performances on the pitch since the season began, this is going back to last season and his reaction/attitude to spending a lot of time out the side.....never threw a strop, never kicked a fuss, never turned up late, never complained through his agent or the media. Comes across as a very humble person off the pitch too when you see the videos the media put out featuring him, always with a smile on his face. It's good to see.
yes, that struck me in the video of his first day at the AXA that showed him going out of his way to introduce himself to the ladies working in the cafeteria. good for him. also a LOL when one of the women asked him to repeat his name several times, a subtle "you're not a big deal to us, lad" -- typical response from a lady Scouser. but all the way through he was very polite with a beaming smile.
Nothing wrong with being a bit of a ladies man, if his type is scouse cougars then that's his business. I have no qualms.
I liked his little smile when Andy Robertson met him at Melwood and quipped: "Finally, a good Dutch player..."
Gravenberch stats vs Rice and Caicedo ............ Resurgent Liverpool ace Ryan Gravenberch refuses to learn from his peers (thekoptimes.com)
uh oh ..... Ryan Gravenberch has handed Liverpool a fresh injury concern ahead of their clash with Manchester United after helping edge Holland nearer the World Cup. Gravenberch was replaced at half-time as the Dutch romped to a 4-0 win over Finland on Sunday night to remain top of their qualifying group. And Holland boss Ronald Koeman later revealed the Reds midfielder had been substituted for Manchester City's Tijjani Reijnders due to a muscle issue, and said: "Ryan indicated he had some minor hamstring problems. Of course, we didn’t take any risks with that." Speaking after the game, Gravenberch said of his failure to appear in the second half: "It was partly fitness related. The season is long, so it was a precaution. I’m feeling good and I have the coach’s confidence.”
at this point we have Ali, Endo and now Grav with hamstring problems of some kind. and we have 10 players who will be involved in NT games today and tomorrow.
