And welcome to the unofficial start of the WUSA season; we've got the virtual donuts (as in Dunkin'; none of that KK stuff :p), coffee, milk, etc. We'll be here for about 4 hours, so sit back and enjoy...

Who's this moron on live now..who is saying that Philly will pick Gregg...did HE miss her no-go-into-the-draft announcement? Maybe he needs to read BigSoccer! ;)

Pre-draft interview with Soccer America's Scott French. Hawkins is predicted to be #4, and they just suggested Bush to Atlanta, and he doesn't think too much of Withers; Solo and Gregg as well.

This interview was obviously done before Gregg pulled out of the draft Friday night....

That was taped before Grgg pulled out.

Although he does pick a Carolina-Charge final

Like I said before...I heard many things about the player no one knows about. Deliah Arrington...from Clemson University..She will go early...ACC Player of the Year, broke many records at Clemson. I am in contact often with Laurie Pells who played for the Charge in 2001 and said she should get drafted....We will see...go charge

So Arrington is charge-up's surprise pick for the 1st round for the Charge.

    Can you describe her style?

SD folks currently bragging about how they exploited the rules and got essentially a second first-rounder with Latham.

OK, we've heard enough of this dork :p, let's get down to business :)

    Arrington???

    Please, no.

Withers or Orlandos; even Hawkins. Arrington will last until the second round.

Fastest girl on two feet Pells told me...faster than Deidre Enos. Dangerous on 1v1's...a defenders worst nightmare. shy as a person, but explosive as a player. It was Clemson's go to player. Scored 50 goals in her career at Clemson and that's now a record.

So Arrington might be the type of player to come off the bench at 60 minutes to add an offensive spark??

Sounds like the type player Krikorian likes.

Socer America draft has Arrington going #16.

I wonder if the Charge wait till #14??

  15. I've seen quite a few comments about SD "cheating" to get Latham. Foreign Discovery is a rule, not a loophole. Every coach had the same opportunity to name Latham (or any other foreign player) as their discovery player.
It's quite simple people - Latham is from another country. The WUSA decided when they started out how to deal with players that aren't from the US. Where they play in college means nothing. Just because a player is really good doesn't change anything.

    TURN UP THE AUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares San Diego pulled a fast one.

They also mentioned about getting TWO new INTERNATIONALS.

That infers the CHINESE won't be back.

I wonder if that's a San Diego decison or whether is trues about ZHAO too?

  19. My point was - there was no fast one in SD.

    It's the rules people.
