So, apparently Özil gained 1.2 million fans on twitter in the last 24 hours, going from 1.9 million to 3.1 million in a very short period of time.

I mentioned in one of the threads earlier, apparently he and Özil are seriously best mates. Sergio tweeted a couple of messages to Özil, including a youtube compilation of the two of them in various scenes together. I have always thought Sergio was a complete douche, but he is a great footballer ... I'm not very confident of Verm at this point, I hate to say it but I wouldn't mind making a run at Sergio next summer. We have our Spanish contingent to woo him, and his bromance to seal the deal ...
I don't follow twitter, so I had to google him. I'm looking forward to seeing Özil alongside Suarez, Rooney, Higuain, Cesc and Sahin.
We place too much emphasis on being ITK. Deals take a long time to do, and at this level are exceptionally difficult. This deal could have been hijacked by the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Man United, PSG, and/or Bayern. We did try for Suarez, Higuain, and Sahin. We probably also bid for Rooney. And we'd have been foolish to not attempt getting Fabregas if Cesc was available. Hell, even with Ozil we should try to get Fabregas back if he's available next summer. The point is, even if a supposed ITK person gives accurate information all the time, he's going to be wrong 90% of the time because so many deals fall apart. Especially at Arsenal. The only deals that move quickly are those that are either negotiated and in place before the window starts, or the buying team grossly overpays, or both.

That...Zelalem will learn more from practicing with Ozil under Wenger than anywhere else. That is a fact. In 5-6 years, he will be ready to take over. Or, he could be the next Frimpong, or Randall, or Lansbury. You get the gist .
