Why is that impressive? Everyone knows he has a left foot that can score an amazing goal every blue moon. The problem is that he is a blackhole which starts in our team.
Hence why he's a lethal supersub when we're pretty much throwing the kitchen sink and attacking all the time. Unfortunatelly when the opponent defends with double defensive lines he's mostly harmless.

I wouldn't, I have been very vocal about Asensio. However, how the heck could I rely on James who is mainly injured or recovering from inury?
LV is better as a squad player. Can fit in two positions, gives his all, can never complain of lack of effort.
Rodrygo and Lucas are better than him. Zidane not giving Rodrygo a start against this Alaves team over Asensio is terrible player management.
We need to sell this summer. Regardless of what we get for him, it will be a profit over the 3mil we paid for him.
Safe to say this guy isn't going to develop into the player we hoped he would during that spell towards the end of the 16/17 season. Just flourished playing in a top side that was firing on all cylinders. Feels like he needs to go to a counter-attacking team that will let him play as a 10 or as a SS. Absolutely dire that he's starting every week on one of our flanks. Not exactly sure why ZZ keeps playing him wide when he has no obvious qualities suited to the position.
There were high hopes for Asensio but he's been disappointing for some time now. Should be loaned and then sold if he shows no sign of improvement.
A lot of these guys should be loaned. Asensio, AO, Rodrygo. Maybe Militao is we bring in another CB and Varane stays. Need to sell Isco and some others as well. But with that many openings how do we fill the squad without spending an insane amount? Ceballos isn’t all that, let’s be honest. Brahim seems fine, guess it’s better to have him than Isco. Kubo probably could use another season away but ******** it, if Vasquez leaves Kubo can take that spot. Bringing Reguilon back should be a no brainer. And what happens to Modric now? Lot of questions with this squad. Happy I’m not the one that has to figure it all out.
