Of all the coaches to go after, Mourinho is probably the worst example. Guy started off as a gym teacher and worked his way up as a translator in Portugal well before Barcelona.

I admire Sarri. Bank teller his whole life, then lived his dream job.

As for Mou, his dad was a manager. Jose was a scout, making notes for his dad, from the time he was a kid. Being a manager was in his blood.

I doubt Maurizio Sarri will do anything with Lazio but he does have a point though.

I mean from 1990-2005 , he started out with Stia, Faellese , Cavriglia ,Antella Valdema , Tegoleto, Sansovino and Sangiovannese.

His first job with a real club was after 15 years at Pescara.

He was an amateur coach forever and then went on to win the Europa League at Chelsea and then the scudetto at Juve.

There aren't many coaches who can boast that kind of resume.

Wasn’t questioning his own merit and journey, but Mourinho of all coaches to go after for essentially nepotism, is dumb. Especially when you have Pep and Klopp as examples who walked into management jobs.

Mourinho was a gym teacher in the beginning to make ends meet. Klopp became manager of Mainz after retiring as a player

He was asked to compare his cross town rival. He wasnt going after anyone and his observation in comparison to his own was a fair one. Nothing to see here.

Carlo has a specific skillset but its not as a coach. If he was coach of the year material it would have shown at Everton.

To be fair , finishing 10th with everton is an overachievement , he left and they turn into relegations scrap barely surviving
Just like how Mourinho overachieved at united. He left and they turn into trophyless club for half decade already, getting worse each season

Has someone hacked your computer so that you can't post on the internet without including the Mourinho keyword to every post to unlock the Post Reply button? That's the only explanation that makes any sense at all.

    Isn't this a Mourinho thread ?
Good times to post about him again after his ex club lost 4-0 to some british farmer
They tried to play it from back and failed
Which is why Mourinho rather have their keeper boot it long.

No, I am being fair and the point has be shown over his career. Jose is a coach. Carlo a manager who covers over the cracks with people skills. Big difference. Everton were never relegation material but the appointment of Rafa was a disaster that nearly cost them a lot of money.

He finished 10th with Napoli too lol. Still, I was happy with him as the manager.

Likely Graham Potter, the Brighton manager.

If Mourinho were ever to leave, chances are for Real. Ancelotti is getting out of the game soon. Perez is still an admirer of Mourinho. But so long as Roma's board fully support Mourinho's ambitions, he's staying even if Real come knocking.
