Welcome to the EURO 2020 Referee Analysis Board!

Rather than recreate the wheel, I'll refer everyone to the EURO 2016 Wecome thread, which is linked immediately below. Some small things are dated, but the general concept and approach for this forum still holds:

If you didn't click above, there are two general thoughts to keep in mind.

    1) This is simultaneously a sub-forum of the EURO 2020 forum and a sub-forum of the Referee forum. So it is designed to be a mixture of the two groups that frequent those areas. That means that general fans might not be used to some of the community (and jargon... and perspective) that has developed and come with the referee forum. Likewise, people who frequent the referee forum might not be used to the approach that fans are taking with their posts and comments. The bottom line is that we want everyone to give each other some slack. The goal is that this will be a serious place where people can (mostly) dispassionately discuss refereeing decisions in and aspects of the tournament. Which leads me to the second big point...

    2) This sub-forum will be heavily moderated and held to a much higher standard than other forums. If you constantly post things that are factually wrong, post in a partisan way that shows an inability or unwillingness to see another side, or come here to slander referees or make accusations of corruptions without any evidence... you'll be disciplined and eventually be banned. There are plenty of places to just complain about referees on this site (or you can do it off this site, too!). This is not the venue for that. Please act accordingly.
