Alright ... I know you've all got these. Do you eat anything bizarre? Do you separate all the food on your plate and eat one dish at a time? Any odd condiments you use? Ketchup on steak or vinegar on chicken? == My oddities: I love to just drink half and half right out of the carton. I've also been known to sip on whole cream. I put garlic salt on almost everything I eat. I tend to eat the fat from the side of a steak. Or porkchop. I've been known to eat up to 2lbs of nothing but beef in one sitting ... And I tend to just gnaw on summer sausage -- no cutting or anything. I drink (dill) pickle juice. Etc. etc. That's all I can think of right now.
Well this is what all my friends find strange from me: I won't eat any fruit as it comes from nature, but I would eat anything elaborated from it ie. juice, jam, etc.
After a hard night of drinking, I've been known to eat cold spaghetti over the sink in my underwear. Ah...the joys of bachelorhood.
I have an oddity in that I will love and hate foods made out of the same thing, all the difference is made in texture, spice & preparation. Examples: -Hate hamburgers, but I love tacos -Don't like tomatoes, but I love ketchup, pizza sauce, etc... -I don't like idli, but I love vada
I won't eat any type of nut, cashew, peanut, almond if it is in or on a food (like cookies, brownies or as a topping) , but in and of themselves, like in a dish seperate from other things, I'll eat them.
Well whenever I go outside and grill on my lil' Weber Smokey Joe I always take off my shirt. Thank God I only grill when it's nice outside. I just don't like the smell of grilling on my shirt.
Ehhh... actually I don't have that strange eating and drinking habits. Although I love eating a big heavy warm meal right after I get up (pasta or some oriental rice and chicken stuff... jummy!).
Wow. Me too. _________________________________________________ I won't eat any dairy product (milk, cream, sour cream, chip dip) except cheese more than 24 hours after I opened the container.
I just remembered another weird one of mine. I won't eat the first or last bite of a banana...it always seems kind of mushy or weird.
I just don't even eat real bananas myself. I put Kim Chee on just about anything that's not chocolate. I don't eat fruit cooked with meat unless it's an indian dish.
I eat mine with mayo and dill relish. Dash of pepper and a little bit of lime juice and garlic salt. I always feel weird telling people I mix tuna with noodles.
- i like to eat peanut butter and cottage cheese together on a spoon. - i also like to eat american cheese, pickles, and ketchup together in sort of a 'sandwich w/o bread and meat' sorta thing.
Okay, now that's just gross. I mean it may taste like filet mignon, but I sure as hell won't ever know it. What on earth would make you decide to even try it in the first place? This is what baffles me about most weird things that people eat. It's not that the stuff is awful, but the fact that someone even thought of it in the first place.
*I only eat cheese if it's melted and generally if I cannot see it *I don't eat eggs unless I cannot see them (bread, baked goods are okay) *Wendy's french fries are dunked into frosties *Same with the banana thing- no first nor last bite- of any "whole" food that is (cucumbers/pickles, etc) *I don't eat foods with seeds- if I can help it (cukes, pickles are the exception)- I grossed out in Spain after seeing the seeds of fried eggplant one day... One I don't do, but was a staple in my house (mom, dad, sis)... is tobasco sauce on popcorn- on everything for that matter...
okay, long and the short of it. i make a chip dip by blending cottage cheese and the dry packets of ranch dressing mix in a blender. i loved dipping my peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the dip, eventually i started eating spoonfuls of peanut butter in college when i was too lazy to make a meal. i thought, hey why not toss some cottage cheese in with it too, i mean it was good when it was a dip! and voila, you have what most of my friends call the ‘grossest concoction’ of food ever.
you are correct. I'd rather have cold pizza than hot pizza. Cyrstal sauce on any fried seafood (I specially like it on Gator). I, too, drink pickle juice on occation (as a kid, I did it all the time). If I had a dog, I'd probably still eat dog biscuts.
I agree, anytime i order a pizza it usually spends 10-15 minutes in the freezer before i'll even touch it. Especially if it's from dominos. Pizza Hut is ok fresh. Papa Johns with the garlic butter sauce is pretty yummy fresh too.
I tried that once and did not really find the appeal in it. Oh yeah I do the ranch dressing on pizza and fries as well.
-Ranch dressing and pizza is killer, so is with fries and many other things. -I cannot stand butter. Well, if it's part of a recipie I can handle it, but I have never liked eating a piece of toast with butter, or butter on pancakes. I would also not eat mashed potatoes for a while, but instead, my mom would bake me a potato and I'd squish it into pieces and douse it with salt. I grew out of it when I moved to the states and discovered gravy. -I went through a phase where I'd drink a concoction of equal amounts of coke and OJ. -I like to eat rice with vinegar, when I don't feel like busting out the KIKKOMAN. -Inspired by a certain movie, my brother tried French fries with mayo and has loved it ever since. -The whole Wendys fries + Frosty isn't as good as a McDonald's fry dipped in a McDonald's ice cream cone.
