1) Van Basten....Remember him? He proposed in an interview to have shorter leagues (fewer teams), shorter seasons, shorter tournaments, and shorter GAMES....35 min games, Basketball style, with clock running down, and Instant replay..... I like much better the idea of Dutch teams to ID fans as they get in the stadiums.... 2) In Chile.....last weekend.....Fernandez...a Uruguyian forward of Santiago Wanderers....said that an opponent tried to stop him by pinching him with a needle....according to him that was the newest way to stop him....a defender from a Club team called Audax Italiano denied the incident.... 3) Ivan Zamorano....BAM BAM....will make his movie debut....acting as a moderator in a dispute between hooligans "barras bravas" in Chile. The Chilean movie, will be finished in December; it's supposed to be about a love afair between a member of "Garra Blanca" (colo colo hooligans), and "Los de Abajo" (U de Chile hooligans).....The movie stars Zamorano, and it will definitely win NO oscars next year....
AFCA, no no you are right...nothing like that. I meant to say that when you spoke about Holland, it reminded me of what Van Basten said.
That's exactly were they go the idea (and I'm not kidding), but it's suppossed to lessen rivalry between teams and make them more tolerant.
Oh great! Now I suppose Guy Ritchie will make a movie about a love affair between a fan of Rangers and a fan of Celtic.* * BTW same applies with Boca Juniors-River Plate or Dallas Burn-Chicago Fire.
Re: Re: Weird Soccer news... Could be, but it wouldn't be an original idea, it would be a re-make... and you know that all remakes are really bad!
