I was just wondering if you guys had any kind of weight lifting routines you did during the off-season. Something that would help throw-ins, shot power, speed, etc.

    Thanks

Yes, you need weights and then you need to lift them different ways. That should do it.

What that means is that don't worry about programs. Just do what feels right.

Well, a certain program is a good thing to have. Don't just go in the weight room and start lifting stuff on your own...you'll hurt yourself. Get with a trainer at your local YMCA and tell them what your aiming to accomplish by lifting and have them work you up a program...they'll do it for free too.

depending on your age you have a diferent variety of choices: if you're highskool age then you can just take a weightlifting class at skool and use their gym...its free too. If you're too old for highskool then you can just go to a public gym and ask the owner to help you out.

I lift at my high skool and if you do leg extensions, squats and leg curls your legs will get alot stronger...as for arms i dont really know, you'll have to look around the gym you go to.
