Final 3 games of the 'out' half of the season. 3 of the best chances for points.

Fewer than 4 points out of these games will be a disaster. 6 is really the minimum that should be acceptable.

Halftime in Genoa and its 1-1. Genoa scored after just 4 minutes.

This team is a trainwreck. Lets just hope Genoa is equally so. Sounds like both teams are putting in some pretty rough challenges.

A miracle for Palermo. down 3-1 with just 25 minutes to go, they score 3 goals and win 4-3.

Unfortunately, Empoli also won, so Palermo is still 5 points from safety (they only moved up to 19th place, tied on points with 18th placed Crotone).

Next week, now last place Pescara, a fight for safety against 17th place Empoli.

Hope in Palermo, if only for a few weeks.

Atalanta did Palermo a favor and came back to beat Empoli, meaning a win against Pescara today will put Palermo within 2 points of 17th place, with a game against them when the winter break ends.

    PALERMO: 1 Posavec; 15 Cionek, 12 Gonzalez, 6 Goldaniga; 3 Rispoli, 28 Jajalo, 14 Gazzi, 19 Aleesami; 21 Quaison, 23 Diamanti (cap.); 30 Nestorovski.

    A disposizione: 68 Fulignati, 2 Vitiello, 8 Trajkovski, 10 Hiljemark, 11 Embalo, 18 Chochev, 20 Sallai, 22 Balogh, 25 B. Henrique, 27 Bentivegna, 89 Morganella, 97 Pezzella.

Lineup for today. looks like another 3-4-2-1

Andelkovic and Rajkovic still out, but otherwise, a pretty full squad.

Goals last game came from Quaison, Goldaniga, Rispoli, and Trajkovsi. 3 of the 4 in the starting lineup again today. Trajkovski a likely sub.

Ex-Rosanero players Cristante, Benali and Brugman in today's Pescara's squad. Benali starting, the other two on the bench

93rd minute PK means Palermo draw 1-1

They are up 18th place. Crotone's (19th place and even on points) game against Juventus was postponed.

Still 4 points from safety though, meaning they won't be able to overtake Empoli by beating them in January

Tomorrow is one of those "6 point games" everybody is always talking about (I accidentally put Sunday's date in the title). Win and Palermo are only a point from safety at the half way point of the season.

Lose, and Palermo are 7 points from safety.

    PORTIERI: Fulignati, Marson, Posavec.
DIFENSORI: Aleesami, Cionek, Goldaniga, Gonzalez, Morganella, Pezzella, Rispoli, Vitiello.
CENTROCAMPISTI: B. Henrique, Chochev, Gazzi, Hiljemark, Jajalo, Quaison.
ATTACCANTI: Balogh, Bentivegna, Diamanti, Embalo, Nestorovski, Sallai, Trajkovski.

Basically a full squad is available. No new reinforcements yet though.

Andelkovic not quite fit yet it seems, and Rajkovic still out long term.

Only other absence is Bouy, who rumor has it, is on his way back to Juventus to head elsewhere.
