We are experiencing some technical difficulties at Yurcak for the broadcast but we will hopefully have it resolved before kickoff

All I can say to the Boston lineup is..... WTF? No O'Reilly, Mewis, Sanderson, or Lohman?

Lohman apparently isn't available for tonight's match.

I'm not sure what kind of message Durkin is trying to send but I think he is sending it to the wrong people. Their problem is not their midfield of forwards. Their problem is the inability to clear a ball in front of goal.

This one is more interesting than one would expect from these two teams.

Haha -- Sky Blue are in red tops, Red Stars are in sky blue shorts. That's adorable :) (edit: special-edition pink jerseys)

14' 0-0 Sky Blue bounce a ball through box top center, leaks past a scrum and Freels collects at 16m. Johns(t)on comes across the mouth and dribbles it out of danger before Freels can shoot.

17' 0-0 Johnston dribbles through box top mid-left to 14m, shot blocked over.
18' 0-0 Chicago left corner, cleared. Chicago two right throw-ins, but offside on the 2nd.

23' 0-0 Chicago left corner, to 7m 1/4 left. K.Johnson outjumps Johnston, heads across and out. Chalupny rolls ball up wide right for Leon, Sky Blue clear.

25' 0-0 Chicago steals at circle top mid-right, pass forward to Hoy sprinting through 2 defenders, past box top mid-right, leaves them behind and chases to 7m mid-right, pulls her shot across mouth and just wide left. Bywaters retrieves it, circles back out, chips back to center, Goodson heads clear.

Leon with a nice chip to but CHI up 1-0. Was going to stick with this game but the potential for train wreck in the Boston game beckons for me

27' 0-1 Hoy settles at box top, drives past 1 defender, to 6-top right, slips on wet turf as she plants to shoot. Ball dies at her feet, Leon picks it up behind her, darts into 4m right post and flicks right outstep high over Loyden's sprawl.

28' 0-1 Hoy outruns 2 through box top mid-left, Loyden dives out at 14m and Hoy has to hop her.

30' 0-1 Chalupny drives down to left post endline, Loyden blocks the cross over.
30' 0-1 Chicago left corner, to 15m 1/3 right. Johnston heads it into box, cleared.

32' 0-1 K.Johnson crosses from 15m wide left, off 3 players at 10m 6-left and over. Schmidt got fallen-upon at the spot, no call.

33' 0-1 Leon chases from 15m wide right to box top mid-right in an arc, out-footworks 3 players, flicks right outstep to Chalupny down wide right. She drives to endline, cross blocked over.

34' 0-1 Chicago right corner, to 6-top left, headed back to 15m center. 2nd header inward, cleared away.

35' 0-2 Wenino(?) runs to 13m box left, turns away, crosses right instep high to Leon at 7m 6-right, facing ball. Leon knocks ball down and back to Chalupny wide-open at 14m 1/4 right. Chalupny settles, blasts ball just inside right post, off Loyden's kick-try and up into right back.

36' 0-2 Chalupny drives 1-v-4 to 20m arc left, stopped.
37' 0-2 Bywaters carries to 25m center, shoots high.

38' 0-2 Chicago thread a beautiful ground pass through box top arc right for Bywaters flashing across, perfectly in stride but takes her wide to 7m mid-right. Cross cleared, bounces to Chalupny at 14m center. She shoots into a defender's raised leg, pop-up seeks and finds Loyden still on the turf at 4m 1/3 left, grateful catch.

40' 0-2 Nick chips up wide left for K.Johnson, Johnston comes across and pokes ball to touchline -- then chases it down, keeps it in, dribbles upfield. Energizer bunnyhood of youth, mature players watch that and just wince. (and sigh)

42' 0-2 Sky Blue down box right, poked into touch. Right throw-in, poked into 14m mid-right, headed out. Nick blasts from 22m mid-right, way wide left.

44' 0-2 Bywaters vs. Levin, standing at 8m wide left. Bywaters drives endline, turns Levin and spins her down. Levin pokes ball over.

45' 0-2 Chicago left corner, drilled into the 1-Levin wall. Ouch. +1'.

45+1' (of +1') 0-2 Chicago maintain possession, Bywaters rolls down wide right. Two right throw-ins, Chalupny crosses to nobody. Bad, bad, bad field-level camera angle

Confusing having Sky Blue wearing red and the Red Stars wearing sky blue...
