If anywhere was to be called the Fortress I'll think it be Harvard. That stuff could pass for a prison, soooo much cement

If it keeps them out, it's a fortress or contravallation.
If it keeps them in, it's a prison or circumvallation.
If it does both simultaneously, it's a tactical donut. Veni, vidi, mmm.

What is it if the home team can't win there?

For the record, I did not see anything from Dunn this game. She was a face in the crowd.

Not for WoProSo generally. Back in 2002/WUSA Tiffany Roberts got a yellow card, proceeded to question the referee's ancestry*, and immediately got a second yellow.

*This is speculation but it must have been pretty impressive.

On the other hand, they've had comparatively tough opposition. They have yet to play Boston and have only played Houston and Sky Blue once. Meanwhile, they've already had to play Seattle twice.

    (5) If you're going to take off your jersey after scoring a goal, Masar, wear a decorative bra and not one of those ugly gray things.

After the Spirit match, Ella said she would have done it again if she weren't sitting on her fourth yellow.

After the way Houston continues to shoot themselves in the foot and given the roster reshuffling they go through every game, Masar sitting out for one game is not a huge deal. On the other hand, we have a pretty cool celebration to talk about for a week or so.

I wasn't following the sport back then, but I did hear about this incident. Beats another shirtless wonder complaining about an opponent only getting a yellow a year later.

The twitter campaign worked. I'm not sure what capacity (SC top ten) they want to use the video but this is great.

Can one of you kind souls start this week's thread? My thread starting power seems to have vanished for good.
