Ibrahim with an epic flail after a nice build-up. Ibrahim hits it with his right when he should have used his left. And perhaps should have passed.

Ibrahim bungled that one badly. Maybe that is why Rongen hasn't chosen him :p

Who do we have on the USMNT that can throw like that? Instant corners from anywhere on the touchline.

Onyewu, but we kind of need him on the tail end of those throws.

I was trying not to state the obvious. Your initial post gave the impression that the commentary was up and running.

    No worries.

It's troubling times like these that I miss the dulcid and fluid stylings of one Mr. Marcelo Balboa....

    Not at all.....

All the more reason to get Chad Marshall some looks with the US.

Gooch-to-Marshall would create a goal or two off throw-ins.

Oh, and that forward for Dallas would be a pretty good target for a Gooch throw, too.

Dallas struggling to play the ball out of the back. Slow decisions on the ball and little movement off of it leading to giveaways.

I'm surprised Vitti didn't get the start over Barrett. I thought he looked dangerous last week.

Why is it that Chad Barrett looks like a total stiff against everyone else in MLS but when he plays against United, he's the second coming of Alan Shearer?

Wow, what a bullshit explanation from Schellas, via the sideline reporter, for Dallas' poor start.

And DeVos shows why I like him by calling BS on Schellas.

And the PBP guy just confused Cooper with Jeff Cunningham, who isn't in the game.

The man is clearly in over his head. The only thing keeping him in a job is the hero worship that the Dallas GM has for him.

Cooper with a better header than I thought he could put in there.

Guevara's made some poor decisions on otherewise dangerous-looking plays.

Damn if Sam Cronin isn't a good player.

DeRo with a poor choice. Should have let that dummy thru to Barrett, who of course would have kicked it out of the stadium.

The sideline reporter relayed a conversation she had with Schellas where he said part of the reason for Dallas' poor start was because they played their first two games at home and having two straight games at home to start the season put a lot of pressure on the team and as a result they played tight.

DeVos was like "I've never heard a coach say playing at home was a bad thing..."

And Barrett misses a fairly open net after Guevara hit the post. It was a hard shot but it was an open net.

Barrett, as if on cue, bones another chippy. Looked to be offside, but man, you gotta do better than that.

As soon as I saw that miss, I knew it had to be Barrett.
