Well, with the first game on Thursday, might as well get this started. First off, NE. I haven't heard...is Isabel expected to hit New England by Thursday? I haven't paid attention and if it was to hit it's not inconceivable they could call off this game, much less have anyone show up. But that's just wild speculation. I'm sure a Revs suppporter could provide some insight. Presuming some decent weather: NE - 10,500 Then we got: Dal - 7,250 LA - 22,750 (Cobi bobblehead night) NJ - 18,100 (presuming Isabel doesn't ruin the evening here as well) Which leaves KC. Any update as to how the promotion is going? Hopefully we're looking at over 40,000, and possibly more. Settin' up for a fascinating attendance weekend.
Expecting 65 degree weather in NE; Isabel not a factor. Maybe they'll get 13,000 for the late season, key playoff run encounter. Still haven't heard any update on the KC promotion. Can anyone tell us if New Jersey will be drenched on Saturday? I think it's rained about 3/4 of the game in New Jersey this year. (Memory may be faulty.)
The return of Twellman with Rapids at Revs 16,000 (cloudy and windy) Crew at Metrostars 17,000 (partly sunny high 72) Quakes at Wizards 60,000 (mostly sunny high 76) Fire at Burn 10,000 (partly sunny high 81) United at Galaxy 24,000 (partly sunny high 81) average 25,400
Has anybody crunched the numbers to see how the Gals attendance has increased since they moved into the HDC? It seems they are hitting over 20,000 every game, which is a lot better than last year.
I bought six tix this evening for saturday. Tickermaster clerk at local tix office in woodland hills, ca said tix sale pass 20k mark and it look strong! I ask him how strong is... he can't tell me due to company policy isn't allow workers to release info.
Remember--it's tickets sold, not how many people walk through the door. It is my understanding that people get tickets from the supermarket just by buying those select goods. Therefore, it seems to me that whether these tickets are used or not, they will still be accounted for in the final tally.
Hey - don't sell the post-Mike Jefferies bump short. We could see over 8,000 in attendance. We haven't had a home game since August 23rd.
Re: Re: Week 25 Attendance Ha! I did forget!! There's also the Colin Clarke-bump and the Steve Morrow-as-assistant-coach bump. We could see a Dragon Stadium record!!
We could see over 8,000 in attendance. We haven't had a home game since August 23rd.
Of course, it's also the Brimstone Cup, which I haven't heard too much about this week, but might draw in a few extra flies...I mean...fans.
well go ahead and shoot me if i'm wrong but i belive people actualy only get a voucher at the stores and they have to actualy go to the stadium or other place maybe to redeem this into a ticket. Here is hoping for 30-40 k in humans at the stadium Do you people think the Crew draws better at Giants Stadium then the Revs ? what makes you think we will get better then 14 K on Sat. i think those footbal lines turn a lot of people off as much as 2-3 k. The polish striker might help to bring some polish people in but once they see how the field looks like and how the metros play they will never return.
MLS really can't be so picky. If non-humans show up and want to buy tickets, then they should be allowed in too. Especially goats.
Not true, I have four of them. You do not need to go to the ticket office with these, you can go straight to the turnstile to gain admission. So they are in fact a ticket. Now the point remains, whether the Wizards count all the tickets distributed by Price Chopper or all the tickets turned in at the turnstile on Saturday night. Here's hoping the T-storms stay away until Sunday.
..... so you have assigned sitting a real ticket ? and in New England people might have stayed away thinking huricane, maybe
