Or even better.. will they score a goal that isn't from the penalty spot or into their own net?

I swear KC has the worst anthem singers of the entire league.

Nah, it'll be either Holiday or Tymrak. They have 16 of the 20 goals from current KC players.

I just now realized Sesselmann is sitting on four yellow cards. KC can't afford to lose her, as we saw against Portland, so she needs to be careful.

Jurgen Klinsmann gets a red card and is kicked out of the US vs Honduras game.

Kansas City moves the ball better than any other team in this league and it's not even close.

If Tymrak was standing there eating a donut she'd still find the cutter. If she played for Portland Morgan and Sinclair would be going crazy.

Has anyone came close to beating KC on their hard court surface?

And we'd probably never have gotten to see her play after college without the league.

SkyBlue won 1-0 back in May, but that was on a PK and KC played with 10 for almost the entire match after Sesselmann was sent off and O'Hara picked up her ankle injury in that match. Even then, KC was the better team that day, but were unlucky not to score.

ETA: Chicago beat them 3-1 as well, but KC's internationals were with their respective national teams, so they were shorthanded.

I'm curious if KC could move the ball that well on grass. This pitch is awful for opposing teams.

I just wish she would look to cut the ball back when she gets forward. That pass has been open a few times.

Kansas City had the bulk of the pressure so far. Lots of attacking inside the the third of Boston. Not many quality finishes, not even going to count Mewis dumb shots that she takes from distance. Tymrak and Holiday look like they are on the same brain wave again. Nice flick pass to Holiday for the near goal.

Very little service to Boston's forwards so far, then again that is what Kansas usual does, deny service to the top scorers in the league. I can see that Boston will never play the possession style football with Leroux in the line up, she needs to be attacking north south to be dangerous and split the backline. Even with the long balls that Boston plays, they are still having problems connecting to their forwards.

Did the lines on the field cause the ref to miss that handling of the ball outside the box by Phillips? That's the only explanation, because that could have been really bad for Boston.

Watching FCKC play is very enjoyable. Tymrack is the real deal.

Teresa Noyola was the reason behind that second goal, she held the ball up and freed Lauren Holiday to make a run on the sideline then her pass to Courtney Jones for the goal. Good link up.

I'd actually would live to see Noyola start over Mattias, Noyola has butt loads of technical skill and really makes good descisions like that goal. Having Tymrak, Holiday and Noyola in the middle of the pitch would be just unfair for opposing teams.
