After a hectic few weeks with most teams playing 2 games a week, we finally get a bit of a breather before the final stretch run. Only 4 games this week. 7-20 Washington at Chicago 7 PM EST 7-20 Seattle at Kansas City 8:35 PM EST 7-21 SkyBlue at Western New York 1:30 PM EST on Fox Soccer 7-21 Portland at Boston 4 PM EST This week's injury report: http://www.nwslsoccer.com/News/739219.html
If Seattle beats Kansas City, even though it would pain me to see this happen because I am a KC supporter, I am going to have to give Seattle chance's of making a run for a playoff spot a real good chance. Their schedule down the stretch clears up nicely and they can really get some easy points after this match. Though Seattle is my second favorite team so really either result is a good result for me.
Ah. Thanks for the tip. I'll check that one out. I don't care what the announcers have say, but I do like to hear the crowd.
I have no idea what it takes to do a sports event web cast. BUT after 5 or 6 home games, I would think all the bugs would be worked out. I just don't get it.
...My Spanish broadcast suddenly started talking in English... =edit= At least the picture quality seems to have gone up.
They switched the audio on the Spanish broadcast because of whatever issues they're having. You would think after all this time they'd be able to get the bugs worked out ahead of time.
Wait... So, Masar's got 2 goals and an assist in the last two Chicago games and doesn't get the start? But Grings with 0 goals and 0 assists does? Am I missing something?
Chicago really needs to stop giving up free kicks. Even with Washington's abysmal scoring record, they could still put one away.
Chicago needs to just feed Adriana Leon and let her carry the ball in. She is able to dribble through her defender and get crosses in consistently, much better option for Chicago.
She seems to be doing better coming off the bench. If Masar scores as a sub, then by all means don't change that.
I was under the impression that Masar does much better as a sub than as a starter. And Grings is good at keeping the team organized, even if she doesn't directly help with scoring. =edit= Dammit! Ninja'd again!
I don't want to jinx them, but Washington is playing really well so far. Still have that same problem with scoring they've had for most of the season, though.
I thought she was playing fine as a starter. She just wasn't getting the service to really score. But now they've figured something out and she's scoring, so give her more time. I dunno, I guess that's why I'm not a coach...
Ugh, Santacaterina is killing Chicago with these turnovers. A team that could finish consistently would have gotten at least one goal off of those.
