We're on a roll and looking good. At home against a lower half side side who are coming off a hard fought away draw against a rival. Hoping the boys respond with a comprehensive result. SDFC have all the advantages in that we're getting back to back home matches in a short week. But it's football and K.C. would probably shake hands on a draw before kickoff. We'll need to continue improve our passing in the final third even more to break down what I am sure will be a stubborn defense and watch out for the sucker punch. We've been less susceptible to the direct ball over the top than we were earlier in the season but could be a concern tomorrow. With us back to a weekend match at 7:30 i'd expect a good crowd hoping San Diego delivers. You see SDFC gear all over town but we've only sold out one match so far. Not saying it's going to happen Saturday but be nice if we were a legit 2/3rd's full at Snapdragon. Anything short of the three points would be a disappointment.
Welp we fell short of three points so disappointed but at least we didn't lose and kept the momentum rolling. Team looked a little leggy on Saturday night and just not as crisp as we had looked. This wasn't helped by the fact that K.C. clearly were looking to disrupt whenever they got a chance and the game turned into a pretty disjointed stop start affair. On that note I have to call out the referee. I've tried to avoid even thinking about the refs but the way he called it played right into K.C.'s hands. The crowd was a little disappointing again. They said 25,000 but looked more like 20,000 to me but considering that there was strange wet stuff falling from the sky I guess it's wasn't to bad. All and all another fun night in Mission Valley now we get to host the last place champions.
